Night Spell is a lonely 19 year old batpony colt who is the only son of the ringmaster of a traveling Sideshow (Cirque Du Freak: Vampire Apprentice, Something Wicked this Way Comes etc), The carnival arrives at Manehatten and Night is all alone at his new school, yet he is tasked with luring in his fellow students to come to his fahter's shows so that their souls may be taken into servitude.

 

But it is proving difficult because most of his fellow students are giving him a wide berth due to his appearance and cutie mark, not to mention his bi-polar disorder. 

 

But your OC (preferably female) befriends him and as he/she finds out the truth about Night Spell and his father's business with the carnival, he/she is then trapped , and as he/she was the only who was willing to become and stay friends with Night Spell, he does his best to free him/her of the spell trapping his/her soul to the carnival.
