"Huh....That's odd. but if these break they automaticaly regrow after 3 days."

"Uh-huh..."

"NO, no, uh, I mean, Yeah! I mean..." He said, backing away.

Candy where wide with fascination "oh they do! I wonder if my horn would grow back" She said smiling. She looked closely at his wings “Do you have to wax them to make them shinny?” she asked.

"huh? is something wrong?"

 

"no ,They just dont ever get dust on them..."

Candys eyes where even more wide. "This is so cool! I wish i had wings!" She then looked up at him. "Oh sorry... i'm being really rude"

"Uh... Are they sharp?" He asked Storm

 

"I could make you a fake pair. They don't fly, but they're the best I can do." Mask said to Candy.

"It's ok your not being rude midnight..."

"Theyre only sharp if I make them sharp like I just tell myself they need to get sharp and they will."

"Oh, heh, that must be convenient! Heh... Oh! Look at the time! I need to leave see you later bye!" Mask quickly galloped away with his painting, leaving his paper mache rock disguise behind.

Candy stood there look at his wings. She's always wanted to fly, Twilight told her there was a spell that could give her wing. But because she didn't know her spiecal talent her magic wasn't at max. So she didn't even come close to the magic needed to perform it she turned to Storm "I hope you stay in down for awhile it will be fun!" She grinned.

Smiling he said, "Heh...Thanks midnightive! I should go find a field to sleep in before it gets dark. Oh and..." he whispered to her,"I know a spell that can help you fly. See you tomorrow. Got to go find a nice patch of ground to sleep on."

-AT SHINING MASK'S APARTMENT-

 

"Hmm... That unicorn was an odd fellow. I wonder how long he'll be here. I REALLY don't want to be murdered with his razor wings..." He began to look for his newly made rock disguise "Aw buck me!" He said, realizing he left it near Storm Cloud or whatever his name was. The candy maker downstairs yelled at him in anger. "Sorry..."

 

A odd looking pony with a silly hat, monocle, and mustache timidly walkd back to the paint shop. "Now where did I leave... AH-HA!" The stallion quickly picked it up and galloped away.

In a nice patch of grass on a hill in ponyville.....

 

*Yawn* "time for a good night's sleep...."

Laying his head down he slept soundly into the night...

 

The next morning

 

The town was in chaos and panic...

A huge cloud of black smoke had decended onto the town and had thrown supplies that weren't nailed down clear across the town.

Storm Spark woke up and saw what happened to the town.

"What? No, no, no! He can't be here! not yet!"

the many ponies running around in panic had stated they saw a figure like a snake, head like a deer, and many other animals mixed into it.

Galloping back to his hill Storm Spark sat down and started to blubber and wail.

"Noooo! I-I can't get chased out by him....not again.....I thought I could stay here...But hes found me already.....I have to leave..."

He pulled a picture out of his pocket. It had 6 stones on it in the colors of a rainbow. The elements of harmony.

"Don't worry mom...I'll find the other 4 pieces of you...then I can beat Xenia. I promise..."

Candy ran to Storm spark "Is this what you've been running from?" She asked. I mean if thats what he's been running away from i'd run away too...!

Suddenly, a square patch of grass opens like a door. "psst! PSST! Over here!" Said Mask.

Giving her a hug he replied,"Oh thank god your safe....I need to run and get away from here."

Turning to the black cloud he says, "Thar being...is my opposite....my alter ego...When I was created by my mother I was split into 2 pieces. one part was good...the other part was bad...."

She hugged him back and smiled "Is there anyway to stop it?" she asked. She then heard Masks voice "let's go down here will find away to stop him!" She suggested. She looked at him "But your going to have to trust me."

"Celestia, no!" He said, as he closed the door to his disaster shelter. "Didn't know it was him..."

Candy smiled and nodded. She looked around "Now he's shut us out like that" she said loud enough for him to hear in a snappy voice. She paused "My house! it has a basement its not much but give us some time" she said leading off to her house.

The sound of several clicks and ca-chunks emit from the door as Shining Mask locks it several times.

 

"EXCUSE ME FOR NOT WANTING TO BE MURDERED BY JOHNNY SCISSOR- WINGS THERE!"

 

"HOW DO I KNOW THAT I'LL LEAVE IN ONE PIECE!?"
