Dew returns the loving embrace, as she nuzzles lovingly into his embrace. "I love you too, Nightmare Spellsong. I-I feel exactly the same, s-sweetie. You and I are together f-forever. I wouldn't have it any other way." She could hear the roar of the cheering crowd, but chose to ignore it, as she focused on the one thing that mattered to her. She took his hand in hers as the two walked to the backstage. As they walked she placed her head upon his shoulder and sighed happily.

 

Once they reached backstage, she wraps her arms around his neck. She then leans up and places her lips upon his in a passionate kiss. After a few moments, they broke the kiss, while Dew smiled and looked at her fiance. "I-I'm sorry about that, m-my love. I-I didn't want the crowd to ruin the moment, s-so I thought we could kiss backstage. I love you so very much, my Nightie." She stutters as she tries to regain her breath.

Night smiles and nods as he holds her close "Shh, don't you worry my love, nothing and no one can ever ruin this moment" he says as he leans in and closes his eyes before kissing her deeply and passionately. He pressed his body against hers as they kissed in love and passion, before he breaks the kiss due to the need to breathe. "I love you Dew Drop, soon to be Mrs Dew Drop-Nightmare" he says as he strokes a hand through her hair and rubs her ears gently "soo uhm..who moves in with who?"

Dew smiles softly as she returns the passionate kiss. She leans into him while running a hand through his mane. After breaking the kiss, she giggles while looking at him with love filled eyes. "Mrs. Dew Drop-Nightmare. Has a nice ring to it, if I do say so myself." She sighs happily as she felt Night rub her ears. She closes her eyes to ponder the thought, before opening her eyes once more. "M-Maybe I could live with you, Nightie. It wouldn't be much of a home back at my dorm. Plus when we graduate, where would we live? I would rather stay with you, i-if that's okay." She looks up to him while giving him the puppy dog eye stare.

Night smiles and nuzzles her "Sure I would absolutely love it  if you came to live with me, we can always get a bigger caravan, or expand on my current one with magic" he says as he closes his eyes and kisses her "So, what now my love? Like, we can still play some more games, go on more rides and go to the petting zoo, or we could just retire to my caravan and rest?" he asks her, gently rubbing her back.

Dew smiles brightly as she returns the nuzzle. "I think that's a great idea, Nightie. I'm just glad that we're together. I hope that we can always be together forever." She says as she returns the kiss. After breaking the kiss, she contemplated on the options while stifling a yawn. She lays her head upon his shoulder and closes her eyes slightly. "W-Would it be okay if we go to the caravan and rest? I'm s-starting to get tired and it looks as if it's getting late. M-Maybe we can see the petting zoo and play games and rides tomorrow?" She asks, sighing happily as he rubs her back gently.

Night smiles and hugs her before scooping her up and holding her in his arms "Then we shall retire to our caravan my love" he says as he carries her off away from the Carnival grounds. In a nearby clearing was a circle of tents and caravans, much like the olden day gypsies and nomads would have had.

Dew returns the hug and giggles as she felt Night scoop her up into his arms. She nods at his remark as they walked out of the carnival grounds. She notices the tents and caravans circled around each other. "I guess those caravans are where we'll be staying at? I assumed where you would stay at was somewhere in the carnival." She looks up to her fiance, as she wraps her arms around him and nuzzles his neck.

Nightmare smiles "Yep, my family is somewhat nomadic, or if you like, gypsy-like." he explains as they near the camp, where a few of the off duty carnival ponies were either sitting or dancing around the fire. "hey everyone, this is my fiance Dew Drop" he says and the ponies get up to congratulate the couple and introduce themselves, 

 

Among the ponies were the aforementioned ethereal colt and filly, the filly Sally looked up at Dew "Y-you're really pretty and beautiful, no wonder big brother Night loves you" she says with a giggle, but it was clear she was in awe of the mare.

Dew yawns as she rubs her eyes to help her stay awake. She looks at the family members gathered around the campfire and smiles. "You're family seems so festive. You also said nomadic. Does that mean you all travel from time to time? Y-You won't leave Manehatten, will you?" She looks up at him worriedly, as he places her back on her feet. She smiles nervously as she shyly waves at the other ponies. "A-As Nightie said, my name is Dew Drop. It's r-really nice to meet you everyone." 

 

Her ears perked as she heard someone addressing her. She looks down to see an ethereal filly looking up to her. She blushes at the praise and gently pats the filly on the head. "T-Thank you, sweetie. That's r-really nice of you to say. You're just an adorable little filly, you know that? W-What's your name, little one?"

"Don't worry sweetheart, we won't be moving for some time yet, we usually stay in a spot for as long as possible, it depends on the council and everything" He says before petting Sally on the head.

 

She looks up at Dew "T-thank you miss, s-so are you and big brother g-going to get married? C-can I be the flower girl please?" she asks timidly

 

Night leans over to Dew and whispers "She is the filly I told you about"

Dew smiles as she sighs in relief at Night's statement. "T-That's good to hear, sweetie. I've been living in Manehatten for a few months, but I r-really like living here. I also want to try and finish my classes. I w-wouldn't mind traveling with you, my love. My dream is to travel and to s-stay to raise a nursery of flowers. I-It wouldn't hurt to make a few new friends along the way." She blushes while she shuffles her feet, as she explained her dream to the others. Her ears perked as Night addresses her. She nods at his explanation of Sally and smiles softly. She giggles while patting the young filly on the head. "You're w-welcome, Sally. You are also r-right about that. N-Night and I are going to be married soon. W-We haven't really decided on a date for our wedding yet. However, I-I would love to have you as our flower girl. If it's okay with y-your big brother, that is."

Sally giggles and hugs Dew "Yay! Thank you!" she giggles before skipping off to dance around the fire. Night smiles and holds Dew close "I hadn't seen her this happy in a long time, so you saying she can be the flower girl really made her day or night, whichever." he says as he kisses her and strokes her mane and ears gently "So, our caravan, come on love, it's pretty easy to spot, it's the one with the addons" he says with a chuckle as he leads her to it.

 

He then opens the door, and the inside of the caravan was much, much larger than expected as there was a forge, metal working station, the floor and walls were covered in intricate alchemic patterns and spells. The bedroom had a large double king size four poster bed, and still enough space for little ones to run around in, he smiles "Well, here we are love, home sweet home..what do you think?"

Dew giggles and nods, as she hugs Sally back and spins her around, before letting her go and watches her dance around the fire in happiness. She smiles and leans into Night's hug. "I'm really glad I could make her feel happy. I also think she would make a beautiful flower girl in our wedding." She smiles and sighs softly, as she returns the kiss. She places a hand on his cheek while using her other hand to stroke his mane. "Maybe if we're not busy tomorrow or so, we can plan out the details on our wedding. The caravan sounds good, sweetie. I'm a little tired and thank you. Knowing that, it'll be easier for me to spot." She says as she walks with him to the caravan.

 

After stepping inside, Dew's eyes widen in surprise at how big the inside of the caravan was. She could see alchemic patters and spells. She smiles at how nice the place looked. "I think this looks wonderful sweetie. I'm surprised, to be honest. It looks small when you're outside the caravan. I-I guess you used some magic to enlarge the living area to accommodate more living space?"

Night smiles and nods "Magic and a whole lot more, but enough about that, feel free to make use of the bed, and even the kitchen and the fridge" he says as he goes over to the fridge "Drink darling? We've got water, juice, soda, coffee, tea and alcohol of all sorts" he says as he reaches into the fridge and pulls out a can of cola. "Oh and don't let the symbols all over the place scare you, they're mostly protection spells. Mostly for work but also at night time" he says as he sits next to her and hands her the cola "Something for you to have before sleep, trust me it helps"

Dew's eyes sparkle in fascination as she smiles and nods. "Y-Yes please, sweetie. Do you have any apple juice? The apples from sweet apple acres from Ponyville always make the apple juice taste delicious. A-At least that's what I think, in my opinion." She smiles softly and sighs in relief. "T-That's good to know. I think I know what you mean. I-In case somepony goes past it and tries to crash the caravan, since it's off the path to the carnival a little." She says as she sits on his bed. She smiles brightly, as she is handed a cola from Night. "Thank you, Nightie. How did you know I love orange soda? I don't drink it often because I know soda isn't really healthy, but it's such a good drink."

He smiles "I do have some apple juice somewhere" he says with a smile as he wraps an arm around her and his tail around hers. "Welcome to your new home sweetheart, I hope you will be comfortable here" he says as he sips on his own can of cola and closes his eyes "It feels good to be home, I'm just glad I don't have to have a dorm at the college, not having the space and equipment to do my hobby would be a nightmare come true" he says with a soft laugh.

When I went off to school in Manehatten I was happy, but sad that I wouldn't see them much. So hearing you say welcome home is truly a warm welcome. One that I can truly say I feel like I'm home already." She leans against his side and nuzzles her head into his neck. She takes another sip of her drink and sighs happily. She giggles as she playfully pushes him away. "That was a horrible pun sweetie, but it was kind of funny. I guess you do make a good point. With all of your music and practicing magic, having a small dorm room would make your hobbies seem more demanding."

Night blinks for a moment before realizing it "How did I not see that?" He asks before he gently takes the can of Soda from Dew and gently pressing her against his bed. Kissing her, he smiles as he brushes a hand through her mane "You are so beautiful, you know that, don't yo"

Dew giggles while shrugging her shoulders. "I'm not truly sure on that, Nightie. Sometimes I can think of some bad puns, but I act like a goof, once you get to know me. I just heard that pun and couldn't help, but to laugh." She felt Night take the can out of her hand, as she was gently pushed back against the bed. She felt his lips upon her own, as she happily returned the kiss. She wraps her arms around his neck, while she felt him brush a hand through her mane. She blushes and smiles at his kind words. "T-Thank you, Nightie. You're so handsome, sweet and charming." She says before leaning up and kisses him again. She pulls back from the kiss and couldn't help but yawn. "I'm sorry, sweetie, but I'm feeling really tired. I think it's time for bed." She says as she felt her eyelids becoming heavy. She moves her arms and wraps them around his back and snuggles up to her fiance. "G-Goodnight, Nightie. Thank you so much for today. I love you so much." Her eyelids suddenly closed as sleep's embrace took hold of her.

Night smiles and nods as he lays down with his fiance and kisses her "You're right sweetheart, it is pretty late right now, and we've got all your things to move into here tomorrow" he says and snuggles up closer to her and sighs softly before closing his eyes "Goodnight love" he whispers before he drifted off into an uneasy dream, where he was in a forest and running from something, but then when he catches a glimpse of what or who he was running from he stops "Father? why are you chasing me?" he asks

 

"Why were you running from me?" Slendermane asks in response "I only wish to see my son and congratulate him on his engagement to a special young mare" he says, as he hugs his son "I understand you are still scared of me and the knowledge you take after me, but your earthly father is a good stallion, he has raised you well"

 

Night nods, but in reality, he squirms a lot

Dew could faintly hear Night's response as she was asleep. She slowly nods and nuzzles against his arm. She was suddenly awoken in the middle of the night, due to Night squirming in his sleep. She panics slightly as she became worried for her fiance. She started to shake Night awake. "W-Wake up, Nightie. P-Please wake up? Everything is okay and I'm right here for you, s-sweetie. P-Please wake up so I-I can help you." Tears began to form in her eyes as she continues to shake Night awake. She shook her head to get rid of her tears, as she focused on making sure her beloved was okay.

Night suddenly awakens and sits upright, shaking and in a cold sweat. "H-he w-was there Dew, i-in my dreams" he says as he holds her close "Slendermane, he w-was chasing me, or I was running from him, I...I forget which, b-but I was terrified until I found out who it was.." he sighs and nuzzles her neck softly , "I'm sorry for scaring you love, i guess that this is just something we will need to get used to, now that the truth is out" he says and snuggles up to her. He closes his eyes, using her chest as pillows and wraps his arms around her. this wasn't him trying anything, it was simply how he used to sleep in the bed with his mother whenever he had a bad dream, and he did see Dew as a lot like his mother..

Dew sighs in relief when her fiance had finally awoken from his nightmare. She quickly got out of bed and grabbed a paper towel from the kitchen. She came back to the bed and began to help wipe away Night's cold sweat. She threw the paper towel away and pulls the frightened colt into a hug. She returns the nuzzle as she listens intently on his nightmare. She nods and holds him closely to her. "I-I'm sorry, sweetheart. I'm not sure why he was chasing you, but I hope it wasn't anything terrible. It was p-probably your father trying to tell you something, but you were scared and ran away." She shook her head and rests her chin on his head. "Don't worry about it, Nightie. I will always worry about you. We're going to be m-married soon, so we n-need to look out for one another. We'll get through this together, my love. T-That's my promise from me to you." She blushes heavily as she felt Night rest his head on her chest. She was about to question him, but stops as she could hear the light snoring coming from her fiance. She smiles softly and wraps her arms around his once more. She gently lays back down on the bed with Night, so she wouldn't wake him up. She kisses his cheek and closes her eyes. "Goodnight, my love. I love you." She says as sleep claimed her once more.

A few hours later, when Celestia had arisen the sun and the sun's warm rays shun through the windows of the caravan. It was then, that a groggy and still half asleep Nightmare yawns and stretches. through his blurry vision, he sees a mare next to him "M-mother?" he ask softly before he rubs the sleep from his eyes and sees that is Dew Drop instead of his mother. He smiles softly as he gently nuzzles her as she slept. He decided to get up quietly and quickly so as not to wake her up. He kisses her cheek and drapes the blanket over her once more before joining his family around the fire for breakfast.

As Celestia's sun rose in the air, Dew felt the warm rays hit her face. She winces from the bright light, but adjusts to the lights and yawns. She stretches and smiles as she gets out of bed. She was about to greet Night, but saw that he was nowhere to be found. She frowns slightly as her ears droop in confusion. She looks around his caravan, but her search proves futile. She walks out of the caravan and smiles while noticing Night with his family. She walks over to him and wraps her arms around him in a hug. "Good m-morning sweetie. H-How are you feeling? Everything okay f-from last night? I'm also surprised that you were up before me. I'm a morning pony, so I'm usually up early. It's nice to see somepony else appreciating the early morning of the day." She giggles as she kisses his cheek. She sits down next to him and joins him for breakfast.
