Amion nodded and took a glance towards Elera and Midna to see them smiling. "I think I can understand a bit. Though what do you think is causing Midna to get depressed?" Amion asked wanting to see how he could help his friend out.

Staasi sighs "I'm beginning to think it was loneliness, as if though she was greatly missing Elera, I mean from what she's told me and the photos she has shown me, those two were as insuperable during high school as you and Elera were" he says "I mean looking at her now, you wouldn't have been able to have told that she was depressed"

Amion looked at the pair again, and indeed he would never be able to tell that Midna was ever depressed as she laughed alongside Elera. "I'm glad we met her selling the house, then it would have been sad to hear of Midna spiraling further, I was antiquated with Midna during school and in the time I have known her she is a nice girl."

"She sure is, she wanted to be a teacher but found that it wasn't her strong suit so she changed to being a real estate agent and she absolutely loves it" he says with a big smile and goes to hand in some of his tickets for a small plush "The pups will love this when they are born and so will Midna"

"That's great, I never did a good job at keeping up with family during deployment except for a letter here and there. But I'll try to make it up to them and I want to make up years of lost time to Elera and it seems I'm doing a good job."

Staasi nods "you know I can probably tell that our girls would be planning for our pups to marry each other, even now" he says with a laugh "At the very least, play dates," he says "and honestly, I wouldn't be opposed to it, especially if it means Midna getting to see Elera more and being happy"

Amion laughed, " You know that would not surprise me very much at all. It sounds like something they would do. Honestly it dose not matter too much what they set up as long as the pups will be fine. I do have a hope that I have at least one daughter I want to get the chance to intimidate the hell out of her boyfriend one day."

"Unless her boyfriend is one of my pups" Staasi says and laughs "And visa versa I am sure" he says and shakes his head before going over to play some skiball himself and smiling over at his wife who was playing some DDR.

"Sure." Amion replied as Staasi walked off. Amion decided to see how Elera was doing and spent a little time walking around till he found her. "Having fun Elera?" Amion asked knowing the answer already.

Elera smiles and wags her tail "Yep, did you know that Midna had been suffering from depression since we knew her at school? And when we all went our separate ways, her depression got even worse?" she says somewhat sadly "I've organised with her to come here at least once or twice a week so that she won't feel so lonely anymore"

Stassi told me a bit about Midna's depression. But I did not know it was for that long. Still it's good that you guys met again and very good that you both will start hanging out again. I know Stassi and I will be hanging out some more."

Elera smiles and hugs him "You're telling me, I honestly couldn't have told back in school, but maybe it wasn't as bad back then because we were constantly around her" she says and kisses his cheek "I just don't want her going through what I went through with my depression before you found me again"

"Well we won't let her suffer alone for now on, and I won't leave you either.  Hopefully with help from us and Staasi she can fully get over her depression."Amion said with a small smile before giving Elera a kiss

Wagging her tail, she smiles and kisses him back "I know sweetheart, when she told me that she was so scared of everything after highschool, I felt so sad, it was like, I was her security blanket and when I moved...she lost that layer of security" she says as her ears droop but then smiles a little as she sees Staasi loving on her and she wags her tail "I'm so happy she has a husband who loves her no matter what"

"Stassi has been good for her it seems but I guess even he can't be there all the time seeing as he probably works as well. With you around though It should help her feel less alone." Amion looked at the time. "Wow this place closes pretty soon. Stassi came up with the idea that you and Midna could hang out and catch up more while I do the same with him. What do you think?"

Elera nods "that sounds like a good idea sweetheart, just please don't drink too much" she says and then smiles as sees Staasi hugging Midna before they came over, "Come on Midna, lets go to my place so that we can play games together" she says, taking her paw and walking away with her, waving to Staasi and Amion.

Amion just simply chuckles "Have fun sweetie!" he calls out to Midna and then looks to Amion "Ready to live up to your end of the deal Cap?"

Amion smiled, "I will keep my word no worries there. Though I am curious knowing it is likely Midna and Crystal may take part in some celebratory drinking who do you think will get drunk first?" Amion walked with Stassi out of the arcade and to a small bar and grill called The Purring Cat, the place had a good atmosphere, good food, and good alcohol.

"well I believe Elera might, but that's just going off of what Midna has told me, but I doubt they'd drink alcohol right now, what with being pregnant and all" Staasi says with a chuckle and looks at the bar and grl "Ah I've been here, it's really nice, and affordable too"

"Yes exactly why I chose this place." Amion got a beer for himself and then opened a tab for the night. "Always good to get shit faced without going broke." Amion relaxed as he took a sip of his beer and waited for Staasi to order.

"well I won't be getting skunkfaced heh" Staasi chuckles and shakes his head as he orders a beer and some fish and chips "Promised Midna that if I am to drink, that I won't get drunk, you remember the last time that happened when we were both on leave?"

Amion decided to order the same, when the fish, fries and beer were delivered he opened the bottle and was rewarded with a pop as the cap came off. Amion held the bottle in the air. "Too a good and peaceful future."

Staasi smiles and holds up his own beer bottle "To our families" he says, clinking bottles before taking a swig "Ah, this is the life, I think I after my contract ends, I won't renew it, not now that I have a wife and future pups to look after"

Amion took a drink of his own, "I retired and like I said I have no intention of going back now that I have found Elera again, besides she wants pups and they would need a father that is not across the globe fighting." Amion took a bite of his food. "Funny how one person can change your life."

Staasi smiles and nods "Indeed it is, but I wouldn't have it any other way, I honestly just signed up to the military because I had nothing better to do, but since I met Midna, she's given me a reason to live" he says with a soft sigh "So you knew Elera since you two were newborns? I can see that, with how close you two are, and just how well the two of you fit together with each other"

"Yea, our families were long time friends and Elera and I ended up befriending each other very quickly." Amion said skipping the part where they found out their parents were swingers and did activities quite often with each other. "Honestly it blurs together a little when we were just very close friends then the point I started developing the want to be more."
