Dzastur 1,719 March 11, 2017 Share March 11, 2017 In other words: Mane 6 (and Spike; sorry, buddy) are off discovering new lands while, back home, all of the "regulars" are battling / preparing for / recovering from the new evil - and the movie will go back and forth between the two? (With more time spent showing the journey) Or will it start home, and then all the film becomes the journey - with perhaps a return at the very end? The MegaBrony 219 March 11, 2017 Share March 11, 2017 Similarly to Star Wars, multiple events happen simultaneously.
cmarston1 5,959 March 12, 2017 Share March 12, 2017 Well given how many characters there are going to focus on in, I think it would make sense for the mane 6 to split up and end up pairing with some of them. The movie could split between what they are doing and trying to get back together.
snowflame 189 March 16, 2017 Share March 16, 2017 I doupt we see much more than cameos from show characters that are not the Mane 6, Spike and probably Celestia. There is not enough time to introduce all the show charcaters to someone who would see the film for a first time.
