Are there 3D print files avaliable to download?

I've always wanted to have a 3d Printed pony- specifically of Sunset Shimmer in a Funko size, since it appears that we'll never get one from FUNKO themselves (thanks a LOT, FUNKO). Does anyone know much about 3d printing, or can direct me to where there might be  (free) downloadable files for this pony? Is 3d printing expensive? There's a 3D print shop in my area, but I have no clue what to expect or suggest once I go in, or how the whole process works.

Yep! There are tons of 3D printing sites that you can either download or for a few of them, get them to mail the printed work to you :)

The first free one I saw online was this: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/jPaHhml9GMO-sunset-shimmer

But, if your willing to pay for the 3D model, I saw some nicer ones on https://www.stlfinder.com/3dmodels/sunset-shimmer-pony

Good luck! Please report back to here if you find anything :)

Thanks!  That first link though,  doesn't seem to have her mane and tail right. One link at the bottom I saw before making the topic.i feel like the sandstone would be a turn off. It looks gritty, rather than the material Funko uses for their ponies. I know I'm probably nitickig, and I apologize.  I'm particular when it comes to Shimmyshims. But I do appreciate your help.

I would much rather pay for the model, and have it done by people who know what they're doing, in all honesty, and just have it shipped. But I have difficulty with online purchases.....

Sadly finding a material with the same feel and appearance of Funko's figures would be near impossible. Don't be sorry about it though! it's important to know what you're looking for :) Remeber that it's still plastic so it's not going to be as gritty as it probably looks. I've used Shapeways before ordering a Model Train for a School Diorama and the overall quality is Very Good! but that's also dependent on the model (I'm tempted to buy this one myself!)

I'd be more than happy to help if you needed some tips on ordering. The sites have streamlined the process in the last few years, in the past, it was considerably harder!

Anyway, best of luck again!

While I'd normally say go for it, I would go for officially licensed merch from Hasbro themselves, if you can.
