ManaMinori 4,145 May 18, 2017 Share May 18, 2017 (edited) being a big figure skating fan (and finally getting around to watching a wonderful anime called Yuri!!! On Ice), I am drawn to pull up a scene from the recesses of my mind- one which showed Maude Pie doing this beautiful spin on the ice, in "Gift of the Maude Pie", and Pinkie mentioning that she has been skating since she was a teeny weenie Pinkie, way back in "Winter Wrap Up", as she was skating and cutting the ice (how do you cut ice with ice skates, anyway?) Anywho, is there anyone else who might want to see more mares ice skating, and have en episode around it? I would love to see Pinkie and Maude just having fun on the ice and maybe run into Suri Polomare, who wants to design them costumes to try out for competitive figure skating, after seeing their talent, or some such. I would love to see one of them struggling to enter the world of that professional sport. I could imagine that both Rarity and Coco are too busy to design Pinkie's team costume ... and one mare who is desperate for work may be Suri. The show gave us a a few antagonists who challenge the Mane Six in their Elements. One has been redeemed, the other forgiven. That leaves Suri and Lightning Dust. What with Rarity running 3 shops, spending time with her sister and friends, and Coco starting up a business of her own, the only other possible candidate would be Suri.
