Phoenix Point - XCOM Creator's Next Project

I trust many folks here are familiar with the recent XCOM games from Firaxis. Perhaps some of you even use my Canterlot Militia pack for XCOM 2? 

But are there any fans of the original game from 1994 here?

Julian Gollop, the man who created the original X-COM: UFO Defense/UFO: Enemy Unknown (and arguably, the turn-based strategy genre) is currently crowdfunding to make a spiritual successor to it: Phoenix Point.

 

I, for one, am very excited about it.
