Jinx's ears lowered. She hadn't thought about that, but she quickly realised something. "They can, but they never have. I have free reign of their domain to do what I please."

She flicked her tail. "So what if they want a new home? I'd just take over that one too."

"Have you tried to do something they don't like?" Midnight pointed out "Scratched a wrong place? taken food that doesn't belong to you?" "And sure, you may be aright with moving to new place, but that wasn't the point, you still have no control over their decision."

"I may have now and then, but it's not like they can stop me," Jinx purred, licking her paw nonchalantly. "Honestly, I'm surprised taking food is such a big deal out here, it isn't at home."

She swayed her tail. "Perhaps not, but they wouldn't dare abandon me. They know better."

Midnight shook her head "So naive." "Though, I can't blame you, I was young and stupid once too" she got up "And you can see where I ended up" she started slowly padding back inside "Just don't act like you haven't been warned."

Jinx snorted and raised her chin proudly. "Hmph, you probably just had some of the stupider humans. The ones that don't know when they have a good thing."

She sighed and looked toward the rivers, longing to be back in her comfy bed.

It didn't take long after that until Slumberfur came back, he padded past Jinx and with the same unnerving tone he meowed "It's getting late, you should rest." "After all, you will most likely be going back to twolegplace tomorrow."

Jinx's ears lifted, a little surprised to hear that from Slumberfur. "Really? Did something happen?"

Had he taken out another cat already? She swayed her tail and purred at the idea of finally getting to go home.

"Did you forget already?" Slumberfur meowed with the same terrifying tone "It's over." "The four pests are gone." he looked away "We just need to hope that it wasn't too late." he yawned "I really should take a rest now."

"It's over?" Jinx murmured, almost unable to believe what she just heard. "You got them all? Wow."

She should have been happy, since the danger had passed and she could go home. But why did she feel more worried than relieved?

She went inside and looked for a place to sleep, hoping things would be better later.

Slumberfur too headed to sleep inside too, and he fell asleep very quickly, having fought 3 cats right after one another. 

Slumberfur woke up around sunhigh, yawning he got up and streched, but suddenly he froze and meowed with his normal voice "What happened? Why are my memories so blurry? "

Jinx woke up at around the same time, yawning and stretching herself slowly. Her ears pricked up when she heard Slumberfur talking, and was relieved to hear his voice was back to normal.

"Nice to see you again," she murmured, and padded up to him. "I think something was changing you when you fought those cats, but it seems to be gone now. I hope."

"What cats?" Slumberfur meowed confused "I don't remember any..." ".... That would explain." he looked at Jinx "I don't remember what has happened in last few days, but l know the time has passed. And I do remember that...." he froze "I... I" "Flameheart..."

Jinx's ears lowered. She wasn't expecting him to get upset about that again after how he'd been acting, but she understood.

She nuzzled against him. "I'm sorry... but I remember everything from the last few days. Basically she was possessed by evil cats and you avenged her by getting rid of them."

Slumberfur looked understandably unsure, he didn't remember anything, so he wasn't sure how to feel. "I believe you, but you probably need to catch me up on what happened." he looked thoughtful, it was weird to have no memory of certain time.

Jinx looked Slumberfur in the eyes, seeing his uncertainty. He honestly didn't remember a thing from the last few days. "Strange how you just forgot it all, considering everything you did."

She explained everything to him, about the evil cats, the curses on the clans, the ominous warnings, and his change in behaviour up until waking up today.

"New sun covers the darkness" "I think I know what's going on." Slumberfur meowed thoughtfully "New sun is morning." "Covering darkness could mean hiding it, and what's better way to hide something than erasing someone's memory about it."

"Right," Jinx murmured in agreement, nodding slowly. "They erased your memory so you wouldn't worry about what happened."

She looked up at the sky. "Strange, but at least it seems to be over now... I hope."

[Catpone Cerberus 23,588]

"I don't think it about me worrying they care about." Slumberfur pointed out "Maybe I knew something I shouldn't" "Or maybe it's just a side effect from becoming several cats." he looked up too "I too hope it's over, but if the warning is true, I'm afraid it's not."

"Well, we don't have to worry right now," Jinx purred, giving Slumberfur a soft lick. "We're safe now. Midnight and your kits are okay too."

She flicked her tail. "I'm just happy this is all over... at least for now."

[Catpone Cerberus 23,588]

"Oh yeah, the kits..." Slumberfur meowed quietly "...I need to talk with Stormstar, about Flameheart." he sighed "Why is that the only thing I can remember?" he shook his head "But well, like you said, good that it's over for now."

(Now, you have a choice, do you want to control Stormstar since he was originally your character, or do I?)

Jinx gave Slumberfur a little lick on the cheek, to try and comfort him. "I'm sorry, but at least she's not possessed anymore."

 

(Remind me, which clan was he in charge of? It's been a while since we used him  )

"True, but no warrior should have to die this young." "And no kits should lose their mother so soon." Slumberfur didn't continue, but it was clear that there was a third thing, as was what it was.... He missed her already.

"True," Jinx murmured in agreement, and flicked her tail. "They will need a mother figure. Maybe you'll have better luck convincing Midnight than I did."

(Oh right  well what would he be coming in for?)

"No" Slumberfur declined "They are Riverclan cats and that's where they belong, as much as it pains me, it's just how it is." he started padding towards the hole going inside the twoleg nest "There they have friends and caring clanmates, it's the best thing for them." "It's time to go." He padded inside to get the kits.

 

(He will come in when these two reach the Riverclan camp with the kits, and well, being the leader of the clan, he probably would like to take the kits back and to know why one of his warriors (Flameheart) disappeared several days ago(he knows about the relationship))

"I see," Jinx murmured, sounding rather sad now herself. "It's a shame, I would love for them to come visit me... it gets lonely there sometimes and it'd be nice to see them now and then."
