"I'm not sure." Slumberfur admitted, "I think I killed the black cat." "But I'm not sure, I got some kind of nightmarish vision after landing the final hit and then woke up." he scanned himself with his eyes, looking thoughtful "Odd, any of the wounds don't hurt anymore, but they are still clearly there."

"A vision?" Jinx asked, flicking her ears curiously. "I guess it makes sense, you were technically asleep this whole time, but still it must be strange."

She decided to sate her new curiosity. "What was the vision?"

[Catpone Cerberus 23,588]

"I'm not sure" Slumberfur meowed "It was so chaotic I'm not sure what I saw." he kept a short pause "But I did see glaces of all the cats the black cat killed, so I wonder if I somehow saw its memories or something." he started padding around "But that sounds too crazy even for the current situation."

"You somehow saw a cat's memories?" Jinx muttered, flicking her tail and staring up in thought. There had to be some kind of connection...

"Do you recognise the places you saw? Maybe we need to go there?"

[Catpone Cerberus 23,588]

"No, like I said, it was too chaotic, I'm not even sure if there was any one place." Slumberfur explained, still padding around "It's really hard to explain, because I'm not even sure myself what I saw."

[Unicorncob 5,681]

"Well that will be a problem," Jinx murmured, flicking her tail as she stayed sat down. "We need to be sure of where you went."

She flicked her ears. "Did you see anything? Notice anything you recognise?"

[Catpone Cerberus 23,588]

"Besides what I told earlier, no" Slumberfur meowed "But do we really need to know what I saw?" "One of the the four cats is dead, proving it's possible, and that's all we need to know." "The vision was probably just some kind of side effect."

[Unicorncob 5,681]

"Still, it might be important," Jinx pointed out. "Otherwise it wouldn't have happened, right?"

She flicked her tail. "Still, you have a point. We know they're vulnerable now." Her ears pricked up. "Hey, maybe it got rid of some of the problems those forest cats are having?"

[Catpone Cerberus 23,588]

"No, actually." Slumberfur pointed out "It clearly wasn't from Starclan, so it isn't necessary anything important."

"Maybe, but maybe not, because this cat only killed few cats as far as we know, it didn't seem to have any other effect towards the clans." "And it's not like the dead will just wake up when their killer is gone."

Jinx flicked an ear, getting a little irritated at her brother's not looking on the bright side. "But this means less cats will die, yes?"

She looked around. "So the more we kill, the less they have to worry about."

[Catpone Cerberus 23,588]

"I don't know." Slumberfur reasoned "We don't know if the cat has killed any cats after the brown one appeared, or if it was going to kill anyone later" he paused for a moment "My point is that the black cat was probably the most pointless kill from the four, since its the only one who didn't seem to have any bigger effect." "So yes, more we kill, less problems there should be." he looked slightly troubled as he quietly muttered to himself "Odd, Why am I aright with that?"

Jinx flicked her tail. "You don't seem to be too happy with us having an advantage. We know their weakness and we can use it against them, but you're still talking like it's bad."

She looked around. "So let's find the next one and take care of it."

[Catpone Cerberus 23,588]

"Is that so?" Slumberfur meowed, seeming truly confused "if so, I guess all the trouble has just drained me dry or something." he kept a short pause "But regardless, I need to rest before I take on the next one, because though my wounds don't hurt anymore, I'm still lot weaker than usual, and thus I'm exhausted."

Jinx didn't respond with her usual snark, actually understanding that he might be exhausted after that fight. Though, she wanted this taken care of as soon as possible, and as much as she hated the idea of acting--or much of anything physical--there was only one option.

"I could try taking on the next one," she suggested. "Or at least weakening them for you to finish off later."

[Catpone Cerberus 23,588]

"I won't stop you." Slumberfur meowed surprisingly quickly "Just don't get killed, they may be weaker, but they are still skilled fighters." he yawned and laid down "That and I won't be here waking you up."

[Unicorncob 5,681]

"What?" Jinx muttered, a little surprised at the last fact considering what she had been doing for Slumberfur so far during the fight. "Then what will you be doing? I much prefer staying alive, just so you know.."

[Catpone Cerberus 23,588]

"Rest" Slumberfur yawned "I probably won't stay awake even if I tried." "And if I rest while you're in the dark forest, I can go and finish the job or go for next one immediately after you wake up, instead of wasting time by resting then. "

Jinx calmed down upon hearing that, understanding his logic.

"That make sense," she admitted, and yawned while stretching her legs. "Very well then, you get some rest and I'll... try not to die."

She lowered her head, ready to attempt to return to the dark forest.

[Catpone Cerberus 23,588]

Jinx would find herself from the forest pretty quickly, and it was exactly like before, but this time there was no river anywhere. She was alone, and there was no signs of any of the cats yet, only silence.

Jinx looked around at her surroundings, quickly realising this was a different part of the dark forest. At least, she thought so, since she didn't see the river.

She darted her eyes around and kept her ears pricked up. The silence would mean she'd be able to catch anyone stalking her.

For a while there was nothing, but eventually sounds of conversation was heard from distance, but it was too far for Jinx to make out any words. But though it was far, it was clear it was the three dark cats who were having the conversation.

Jinx's ears pricked up as she heard the conversation in the distance. She had a feeling it was the cats she was looking for.

She slowly and carefully crept forward, being more careful not to be heard this time.

[Catpone Cerberus 23,588]

(War) "I still don't understand how that weakling managed that though." "We may be weaker but he's still just a kittypet" (Famine) "It doesn't matter, what matters is that one of us is now gone." (Plague) "Don't forget it also makes our only enemy stronger." (Famine) "That's true, we don't disappear, so that means that the kittypet has became Death..."

Jinx listened closely, doing her best to keep quiet and keep hidden away. They didn't sound pleased with how things were turning out for them, much to her amusement.

Though, something she heard made her curious. What was that about Slumberfur becoming Death...?

(War) "You got to be kidding me." "I told you we should have just killed him like everyone else." (Famine) "Calm down, he most likely hasn't noticed it yet." "We can still deal with him." (Plague) "Do we need to though?" "Death already did its insignificant part, we lost absolutely nothing." (Plague) "That's true, but you have to remember that the kittypet is still after rest of us."
