How would you host a celestial event with pony references?

I'm trying to put together a forum based event on a non pony related site. (Gaia online) The theme will be around the Orionids shower later this lear, with celestial NPC's, but I also would like to involve pony in some way, and since the Horsehead nebula is part of Orion, I would like to incorporate that in some way, with vague mlp references. Any ideas?

Maby you could have a couple of good jokes like- I FOUND A LITTLE PONY USING MY TOILET THIS MORNING. WHAT A ZINGER!!! Or FOR SOME REASON... I SEE PONIES ON MY COMPUTER SCREEN EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!

The only thing I can think of right now are more jokes because I'm a funny guy. So if you need ideas outside of jokes then I'm pretty much dead on ideas.
