I've had Animal Crossing: New Leaf for a while, but I started over yesterday because I hadn't played in months and I was overwhelmed by the thought of all the things that may have changed since I'd last played. I'm worried about eventually being asked to get signatures for a petition. My little sister has the game, but she hardly ever plays it now, and even when she did play it regularly, she often wouldn't let me visit her town and accused me of manipulating her when I tried to convince her to let me visit. (She's autistic, so she has a confused idea of what manipulation looks like.) I'm not sure it's even possible for her to connect to the internet on her 3DS right now because our dad did something very illegal and isn't allowed to use the internet.
