What else could be explored/expanded more?

Hey there guys! This topic is written as a follow up of the events of the S7 finale and the Movie. As such my thoughts will be covered under spoilers for the ones who haven't seen them yet. So here we go.

One of the biggest point of strenght of both the S7 finale (the S7 in general actually) and the Movie was the expansion of the worldbuilding, lore and (in the case of the s7) backstories. They were filled with a lot of things we wanted to see in years from the families of the Mane 6, to the revelations of mysteries remained unknown for years, from the appearances of the old pillars of Equestria, to the exploration of several locations from both inside AND outside of Equestria. But at this point I'm wondering: what else could be explored in future in terms of worldbuilding and backstory? The only things that come in mind to me are the origins of Luna and Celestia, the origins of Discord and something about the Zebras land. Other than that I can't really think of something big that could be still told in this series (I mean in terms of Worldbuilding and backstory. I know the show can still have just simple slice of life stories, which are still its core). What are your ideas? What do you think that could be expanded more in future?

Most information about Celestia / Luna... (BECAUSE MORE GODDESS EMPRESSES!)

 

I want to see the cake twins / flurry heart a little more... advanced. Like past babies and into toddler ponies... After all we have no ideal how long ponies take to do that.

Seasons.....

I really want a season set at least part of the time in winter already...

Oh where do I begin?

1. We never met the Manehattan CMCs yet, or what's happening with Babs since she got her cutie mark. That mention of her in Bloom and Gloom really isn't enough to conclude her arc.

2. The fate of Lightning Dust after Wonderbolts Academy.

3. Zecora's backstory, and the zebras as a whole.

4. Scootaloo's lack of flight and her family.

5. Discord's origins and whether there is another of his kind or not.

6. Tirek and Scorpan.

7. Rainbow and how far will she go with the Wonderbolts.

8. And most importantly, so much needs to be done with Spike still before the show ends! Who are his parents? Where did he come from? How did he end up at Celestia's school? How will he do with his ambassador role, how far will it go? What's his ultimate destiny in Equestria? Also what about Peewee?

This show's still got alot to do before it ends! My list can go on if I wanted to write down all the things!

Oh man. I forgot about her. She's pretty much the ONLY character of the old times who hasn't appeared again in years.

Speaking of Scorpan: he was originally meant to appear in the Movie. Tempest and Storm King stole the staff of syrchosis (I don't know how it's written) by him, and the scene should have been the prologue of the Movie, but they cutted it off because they wanted to do the intro scene more affordable even to non-fan of the show.

Speaking of Scorpan: he was originally meant to appear in the Movie. Tempest and Storm King stole the staff of syrchosis (I don't know how it's written) by him, and the scene should have been the prologue of the Movie, but they cutted it off because they wanted to do the intro scene more affordable even to non-fan of the show.
