My 1st and 2nd Vectors: Vinyl and My OC

Alright, so I've been trying my hand at some vectoring in Photoshop (I'm going to have to switch to Inkscape soon, as I'm using my school's program). I kinda want to know if I did well before I start posting this on my dA.

First: "Vinyl's Lament"

 

 

 

This is a project I started doing after reading a certain scene from the fic "Two's Company, Three's a Crowd". I also have some gradient and opacity work done on it. This one is still a work in progress.

 

Second: My Avatar for MLP Forums

 

 

The title is pretty self-explanatory. I just finished this today.

 

I didn't add the dark stroke around the outside of every part of the image, partly because both images were hand-drawn, and partly because I'm a little lazy. XP

I still think they turned out pretty good, but If any of you guys think I should take my time and mess with the stroke on either of them, I'll give it a shot.

 

Also for those that have been following my work, My Scootaloo project only needs color. I was simply bogged down with work and unsure if I wanted to color or vector it.

Not exactly, more like it's sticking through his teeth. I kinda copied the style of this picture though:

I trace vectored drawings I did by hand. The drawings themselves are derived from pictures off the Internet, but edited by my art style a bit (you might be able to tell this with the OC vector, as the original Rarity pic's jaw was kind of melded with the rest of the face, where as mine has a defining jaw line).

Actually it's emotional pain. Like I said earlier, it's from a scene in a fic. Also, I was trying to get her to look (if her eyes were open) dead ahead.
