MLP Airing in India?

I was told that this is an official Hindi dub of My Little Pony airing in India. 

Is My Little Pony officially airing in India now? I met a few people years ago who said India did not have MLP so has this changed now?

That version of the theme song was oddly enjoyable; well done!

It's great to see the show being exposed to other cultures, and I can only hope it gains a following like it has elsewhere. Who knows? Maybe we'll get a cricket-themed episode from this.

Awesome! I have 2 friends who are from India who like "My Little Pony" because they saw it after they moved to the U.S. They could not understand why India had not gotten the show yet as parts of India's culture are already very compatible with the show i.e friendship,honesty, and generosity are praised as are close relationships between students and teachers as with Celestia and Twilight. They will be thrilled to hear this! Thanks so much!

I'm a little surprised that it took this long. AFAIK, English is one of the official languages of India, I guess they just didn't think enough people spoke English to make it worthwhile?

I know 3 people from India who are roughly between 30 to 50 years old and they said they all learned English around 9 to 12 years old. They speak better English than I do! So I don't think it is from lack of English speakers. I can ask them if media has to be released in Hindi in India first if anyone wants to know?
