Gumdrop opened both letters straightaway. One was an "I cant supply punch for the Gala" type letter, an dthe other was an invitation fo Liquorice Twist, which was odd, since the envelope was addressed as 'Queen Gumdrop'. It looked like it was a copy of a hand written letter...

Liquorice poured over this new plan of hers, making it better and better. "Oh, I can't wait till tomorrow night!" Finaly, at bedtime, she couldn't sleep. Her plot was sure to impress her family. She just had to wait.

Candy used her magic to move the tables in to place. By the time most of it was done it was night time. She yawned looked over at Prince "i think everything is perfect!"

Speda walked in through Liquorice's door. She was lying on her bed but she knew she wasn't sleeping. "Hi Liquorice! It's your little cousin Speda!" she whispered happily.

The next mornIng, Queen Gumdrop stormed into Liquorice's room. " What is THIS?!? This-this- INVITATION! Tell me NOW!.... Oh, hello Speda"

Liquorice panicked. If her mother found out her plan, she would be grounded for a year. "I-I- I really don't know why he sent me that letter. It must be a-a- a mistake! I did NOT make friends with a CELESTIAN! Who do you think I am?" she said. "Speda, back me up, here!" the Princess wispered to her cousin.

"Well. Now, how can I believe that you're not lying? How am I to belove that what you are saying is true, since yesterday you were gone for more than the allotted half hour, WITHOUT a Royal Gaurd to watch what you were doing?" the Queen questioned fiercely, as if in court.

"I believe that my cousin is just...um...going to that party to trash it or ruin it in some way...in disguise. Right Liquorice?" Diamond stuttered. She had to make sure that her cousin was protected.

"Hmmm..... Well, if, and only if, thats the case, then you can go. AFTER the Candy Testing, though.. Be happy I let you go. I normally wouldnt let you do this. Oh, and, since youre going, you must wear my gown fro m when I was your age." Gumdrop cantered off to get the dress, suprised that she had let Liquorice go.

Speda sighed. She wasn't really good at telling lies in front of family.

"C'mon, Speda! I REALLY need all the help I can get! My plan will be perfect, all I need is family." Liquorice snuck out before her mom came back, beckoning to her cousin to follow.

Speda followed her cousin and then asked "What's your plan?"

"We're gonna go and crash the Celestian's party, and I need your help." Liquorice said with a smile, still all black and looking ready to go. As they approached the Celestian castle, Liquorice quickly shut her eyes and the two cousins walked inside.

"This party sure is big" Speda whispered to her cousin. "Let's hope nopony recognizes us"

"Oh, don't worry. I got invited. See?" Liquorice held up the invitation.

"How are we gonna trash this place?" Speda asked.

"Hmm... I have an idea. Speda, do me a favor and tell me what's on the refreshment table over there. You know I can't open my eyes in a busy place, and I need to know what's on the refreshment table." Liquorice used her echolocation to find out where he table was, then pushed her cousin towards it.

"Okay....um, let's see. There's candy apples, chocolate shaped hearts, jelly beans, lollypops, some hay, fancy looking grasses, wine, and an assortment of juices" Speda replied as she looked at the table. "There are small triangle hay sandwiches too" she added. What was her cousin planning?

"Hm... Missing something, isn't it?" Liquorice climbed on a nearby stage, and clapped her hooves together. "Attention, everypony! ake a look at the refreshment table. Take a good look. It's missing a lot. Liquorice, gumdrops, caramel candy bars, candy hooflets, basicly most everything delicious in this world. Then look at me and my cousin, Speda. We make candy, and that's just what we came here for. Now, would you rather have anything candy, or these stupid hay sandwiches? What do these Celestians have that us Candymanes don't? " Liquorice was on a rant full time, now.

As Gumdrop walked back to Liquorice's room, a guard ran up to her " Your Highness! Liquorice and Speda are missing!" Great, Gumdrop thought, they left before the Candy Testing. Well, I'll just have to go get them...

When Liquorice saw her mother walk in, she said, "Hey mom! Look at this! Aren't you proud of me? I just crashed the Celestian's party, and even got some hungry-for-candy customers!"

"Yeah! Isn't it great? Liquorice totally trashed that party!" Speda smiled.
