Hey, it's Sunday; Sundays always seem to be the slowest days on the Forums, from my experience.

That is odd though; as the day when (at least in the UK) most stores are shut and nopony is working or at school (well, apart from Tuney who has sunday school) you would expect an uptick.

Oh... I'm sorry to hear that, Alex.  I know first hand how bad migraines can be; I had an older sister who got them... and I know how bad they can get.

Get better soon, Alex; you don't deserve to go through that~!  If I could offer a suggestion, try not to drink any caffeinated beverages for the time being.

Quite alright, truthfully speaking.  Today is Sunday on the Forums, so it's a bit slower than usual. I don't suppose that matters too much, though.

Unusual - often caffine is helpful for migranes, rather than a trigger (and of course tea is not exactly lacking in caffine, either)

Still, I can make you a nice hot tea if you wish (sorry, no iced tea on hand)

i know I would rather have had them myself than see my marefriend suffering, but either I don't get them, or I have a higher pain threshold (headaches, at worst, are painful but not incapacitating)

I *have* had occular migranes, which are truely frightening the first time, and irritating thereafter (because it is definitely inadvisable to drive or work on a screen during their occurance)

I prefer the cool and the cold, in honesty - But one is stuck with the weather you have, rather than the weather you might like to have, and a cool drink (or even ice cream!) can mitigate much of the discomfort.

Migraines are definitely incapacitating. They can cause visual issues and sickness. I'd avoid them as much as possible.

Thanks, mine fabulous friend *nuzzles* I'm trying to do exactly alike, except posting hither now: minimum of light, sound and motion, and some hot strong tea is blissful at the moment.

But while I *do* keep decent tea on hand, my selection is limited; the English breakfast is a blend, and while not listed, I assume BOP; I have Ceylon and Assam (both GBOP) but if I knew I was going to have a royal visitor, I would have arranged something better

It's no problem at at all~!

Yeah, those are some other things that can aggravate migraines. Oh, and just so you know; I believe stress can aggravate migraines as well, so I would suggest trying to just take things slow today~.
