I'm a fan of certain brand for quite a while already, mine lief! Rather an admirer of quality product and taste, than a real fan, but who knoweth *boops lightly* Definitely not a collector... *whispers* the reason is simple, I couldn't trust myself enough not consuming mine collection *confused smile*

Still, the older DSLs are really really cheap second hand these days - I picked one up recently to test R4 Cards with. 3DS is still pretty pricey though.

At at least the hospital isn't claiming you can't go on the internet because "sensitive equipment"

So my new $3000 iMac is almost in Illinois where it will ship from to Germany. <3

Can't wait to finally have it. I ordered it on May 21st. That's the only poopy part about living in Germany, having to wait so long to import expensive items.

Well, I am frequently here my princess - at least nightly, to be sure; less often than our new friend @Longhaul to be sure though

I am never short on coffee, and a quick check shows 6K of beans on hand. Baked goods less so though - I ate the last of the muffins yesterday so plan to restock today. I do have some of the chocolate coated madeleines on hand though, in case of visitors

Heh. I am a little like that with whisk(e)ys, and find the key is to savor just a little of each one, rather than indulging in gluttony (looks meaningfully at 'tia who seems to have a cake. again. )

Look on the bright side - the Aussies just got shafted by their government, and Amazon will no longer do international shipping to them; several other companies are planning to follow, although the new law was aimed squarely at Amazon.  At least that isn't in the EU (yet)

I'm fortunate in that I work for the US Army, so I can circumvent the law because I have an American Post Box on base, so I can get anything from America sent to me.

Its a fancy name, but coffee is just coffee when it comes to the process of grinding and brewing. the Yirgacheffe IS distinctive though, with a light, fruity taste which makes it a good evening or casual coffee (but a more earthy, strong coffee like the monsooned malabar is a better choice for a workday morning )

I took up playing Ingress for that - the predecessor to Pokemon go, it has a similar "geolocation" mechanic.

That can be handy. I know a lot of the forces (the UK one for example) have their own expedited shipping for stationed personnel and their families - much cheaper than paying international rates, and less likely to get damaged in transit.

No, I wouldn't denigrate what our lost friend Tempest has achieved here; nothing wrong with feeling nostalgic though, and such gatherings were usually under the aegis of the minty pone's boop thread anyhow

Exactly *nodnods* Nothing preventeth any of us to go thither likewise, if 't be true we need a closer company and quieter environment. I do appreciate, what Tempest did, immensely though.
