Hey, I'll take that over an overly loud and busy day! 2 hours ago, Califorum said: Incase if you are curious as to what happened here: The British kick out the Spanish from the new world in some alternate war, with aid from their colonies. The colonies eventually want some form of independence and they are granted what they want as a war would be costly and they are recovering from the war with Spain. The nations of New England, New Netherland, Washington, and Carolina are born. Settlers travel out west and found the nation of California, and Texas, both of which have heavy native American influence in their culture. Quebec is granted independence from British Canada, and to make up for the lost land the British colonize central america and surrounding areas, which to this day they remain as a dominion of Britain. Iceland and Greenland were taken over aswell. That's pretty neat~! Do you plan on writing a whole story about this, or will this just remain a concept? 3 ❆~ 𝓐𝓵𝔀𝓪𝔂𝓼 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓕𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻 𝓟𝓮𝓮𝓻𝓵𝓮𝓼𝓼 ~❆ 𝓕𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓨𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓼 𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓜𝓪𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓰: 𝓜𝔂 𝓟𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝓕𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓭𝓼𝓱𝓲𝓹 𝓲𝓼 𝓜𝓪𝓰𝓲𝓬 𝓡𝓮𝓿𝓲𝓮𝔀

In the UK, supermarkets can only be open between 11am and 5pm, with no alcohol to be sold before noon... many do less than that - a noon to 3pm or 4pm isn't uncommon. There used to be a bunch of restrictions on what could be sold, too, but most of those have been removed now. 1 minute ago, UglyBTD said: Really? I'd kill for some peace and quiet sometime. Not only the time, but also the restrictions. Supermarkets here can stay open all day long, and if you go there (let's say you're 15) and ask for something which is a strong alcoholic beverage...well, let's just say that at least 7 supermarkets out of 10 won't ask you anything (I'm mostly referring to the discounts). People usually buy drinks from those minimarkets usually run by foreign people. If you go there, nobody will ask you anything, that's for sure.
