I never thought I would see something like this.  But apparently, Hasbro and Sanrio are going to collaborate on a My Little Pony/Kikirara crossover merchandise.  The tweet, along with some info, can be found at

 It seems surpising at first for sure, but from a business standpoint it kind of makes sense. MLP is a huge brand in the west, especially with Kikirara's target audience, so it's quite an appropriate IP to partner with in order to boost their product's popularity outside of Japan, something that more japanese companies are trying to do right now than not many years ago. I can see this working out pretty well for Sanrio.

Why not Cinnamoroll tho? That puppy seems like a better crossover with 'em horses in my opinion . Oh well, hope it strengthens the pony market in Jap, as they aren't big there despite generally filling the kawai cute animals
