I’ve just found out the existence of this book, which has been released a while  ago. Not even EQD listed it, so it may not have anything new, but I’d like to know if it’s worth a read

Definitely worth it for some of the lore. AKR wrote it at Hasbro's request, and she had lunch with Faust to hash out the Alicorn lore (at least what was in Faust's mind at the time). It's worth it just for that. Whether it ever shows up on screen is another story, but I loved it. 

 

Wait, whoa ... that's not the book I was thinking of. I need sleep.
