What if we had a "Spike fan" character in the show?

Basically this whole post is a roast to us Spike fans, including me, but this could very well be for a useful story! I mean if ya can't laugh at yourself, right? ;)

Yunno how there are Spike fans that think his potential is being wasted, think he's being misused or abused, or thinking why he's not pushing himself to find his origins, or why he's in a deadend crush? Well how about a meta episode about that? What if there was a character on the show that was pretty much the "annoying uber Spikefan", and we'll see how the characters in the show respond to that, and maybe teach us a thing or two in the process, but at the same time, really developing him! A balance of all things if you will! His personal Fame and Misfortune! For some reason they didn't go meta on him (or Glimglam for that matter, maybe there should be one about her too), and perhaps maybe it's time for that to be addressed!

I know you're thinking Power Ponies is that episode, but that only addressed one thing: how useful he is, so they don't need to go back to THAT! The show never mentioned, why he's so happy where he is despite the acceptance being unnatural - and he hasn't had a single conflict with certain characters like most the Mane 6 yet. It was only Father Knows Beast when he had his FIRST conflict with Twilight! Like I said in the conflict post: conflicts are what makes friendships stronger most of the time!

I was already thinking Scorpan can be that character if he and Spike really hit it off, and his bests interests in Spike would be pretty much opposite to Twilight's, but both positive and negative in certain ways! Basically, father figure who was never around, trying to take custody of his boy from his mother, who's not his wife! Yeah that's a dark metaphor, but that's all that is, a metaphor, only implied, they wouldn't mention that on the show!

But that was only an example. My point is: a character basically being an uber Spike fan is something this show might need! It would develop Spike greatly and probably develop certain other characters too that he's close with, and it would be very impactful to teaching not just the Spike fans, but also to the ones who doubted him, and that's alota people!

They seem obligated to call him "Spike The Brave And Glorious," after all.

Obligated? How so?

Let's not forget about Ember. Even though she doesn't show it like Thorax, she has the guy to thank for her becoming the Dragonlord. In a Fame and Misfortune-esque episode revolving around Spike, I can already imagine a funny conversation about someone saying that it would be better for Spike's character if he didn't get wings. Then Ember (or even Smolder) would reply with a crack about dragon puberty.

"It would be better for his character if he didn't grow up?"

:P
