FlareGun45 2,221 March 28, 2019 Share March 28, 2019 (edited) Let's say you have an important question about the show, like Spike's origins, Starlight's mom and Sunburst's dad, Scorpan, Manehattan CMCs, or fate of the Apple parents, would you really want an answer to those questions? It all depends on the question, yeah, but it doesn't have to be these questions. More like a question you've been pondering for a long time you've hoped for the show to do for a long time. What if you had to to choose between an answer you don't like or no answer at all? Which would you prefer? Both have pros and cons! If you pick no answer, you can fanfic about it! If you pick bad answer, at least you GOT an answer and you can leave at peace knowing it's answered! The latter is what I pick! When the staff members say "leave it to fan fiction" I'd consider it lazy writing. Edited March 28, 2019 by FlareGun45
Will Guide 21,362 March 28, 2019 Share March 28, 2019 (edited) Personally, Giving No answer is NOT lazy writing. I see it as the show staff allowing us to be open minded and allow many possibilities to happen. Having no answer makes the question all the more interesting to think about and give reason to rewatch the episode/book/whatever and come up with your OWN conclusions as to why things are that way. Besides, there are people who prefer some questions unanswered as it keeps the mystery alive and interesting. SharpWit 2,702 March 28, 2019 Share March 28, 2019 I was viewing this from the point of asking about something that would likely be addressed at some point in a later episode, or the bad news could be that it's not being addressed. I take news over no news no matter how bad it is because I want to be in the know. It can be damaging to morale but I personally like having the straight honest truth. Hierok 11,832 March 28, 2019 Share March 28, 2019 I voted bad answer, but ment no answer. :3 I rather fill in my own story, if I don't like the giving answer. If I don't understand something or Interpret it wrong, I'm dutch. Sometimes I gamble for meanings of the words. And sometimes I write the wrong words, like week and weak for example.
