It's a Twily made in Adobe Illustrator.

Good job! You got the shapes, you got the shading!

Now, next up is to use the width tool to adjust the stroke width at the corners:

There are fast ways to fill outlines using "live paint". If you make a duplicate of a layer full of lines, you can make it into a live paint to fill it, while keeping the original layer to do the outlines with the width tool.

One everything is done, you can "Object->Expand" or "Object->Expand Appearance" to make the live paint and lines into solids so you can apply your favorite shading.

 

I hope I have given a few hints where to go next. Those things can really help with any design.
