In the leaks, Tara Strong gave an idea for an MLP Westworld episode. Now, I kind of want to see it.

What would the episode be like? How would you do such an episode while keeping it within MLP's age rating?

Here's the episode idea:

Definitely would have been fascinating to see how they'd referenced it. But, I reckon they'd have to tone it down majorly given how bleak, dense, existential the movie and TV show are.

I have no idea how they'd do it without SEVERELY watering it down. When you're writing for a TV-Y rated cartoon meant to sell toys, you're pretty limited in what you can do.

Bigger elephant in the room, "TW knocked up"  Why phrase it like that? Don't see that working without sending her back to a prized pupil/librarian status.

For an episode I'm not sure what you'd do, maybe create a friendship theme park but the actors playing friendly characters get sick of being sappy to everyone all day and actually really dislike each other, and they reach a snapping point where they just decide to tear the place down but they bond over the destructive experience.

Easiest way to have gone about it would have been to follow some large tourist group through Appaloosa while under the control of unreformed changelings who have to keep up the act of a legitimate western town, and of course shenanigans ensue.
