New My Little Pony: Equestria Girls Comic from IDW coming in 2020.

This recently came up on Equestria Daily so I figured on making a thread about it here.

For the first time in five years, IDW is going to be releasing a new Equestria Girls comic. Sure, it's only a one shot but perhaps this could set the stage for further EQG adventures via the comics.

They need to make a series, but it's good to see them give EQG another go. Hopefully it's better than the dismal Holiday special :/

Is Equestria Daily giving false information or am I out of the loop? Their sidebar says its a series, but the information I found for it implies it's just a one-shot anthology.

Regardless, I'm super stoked. I'm of the camp that Equestria Girls is far and away better than FIM but never quite got to live up to its potential with a lack of serialized content outside of the shorts, which ranged in quality from really good to pretty good.

I think they mentioned they will start with one-shots to test waters first
