"I don't think it'll be as simple as pressing a button or will it?" Alex said questioningly. "But can I learn who all of you are first since I came late for the party?" Alex said jokingly. "But I think I should tell you who I am first right? I am Alex Justice, Attorney at law!

Cain followed the others through the doorway, and visibly relaxed, submitting himself to whatever this entire thing was. "Might as well do it 'till the end, hopefully we'll get out of this place." He mused.

When the smooth jazz started playing, Cain's head perked up. He was a fan of jazz, and his head bobbed in time with the music as he felt more at ease.

Observing the room before them, it was easy to figure out how they would get through it. Although he had doubts about all of them managing to fit on the small platforms, and he voiced his concerns. "Uh, I don't think we'll all get onto those platforms at one time. They seem pretty small."

Cain remembered that pre and post near-breakdown, he hadn't introduced himself. He might as well, seeing as they'd probably be in this for the long run. Flicking his longish mane over his ears with a hoof, he added on "By the way, I'm Cain."

"Hey Cain." Alex said in a smooth way, being influenced by the smooth jazz. "So we're going to get on one at a time? Seems simple but it looks super sturdy so it would be faster if more than one of us get on at a time but better to be safe than sorry I guess." Alex said while poking the slightly transparent platform."

''Who cares about Safety?'' Said Splinter as laughing.

"I somewhat agree with Splinter. It would be safer to go one or two at a time, but we have no idea if the platforms will come back. We all need to get on at the same time, so, yes, 'Who cares about safety?'" Ali said, before stepping on the platform. "Come on guys, the quicker, the better."

"Alrighty then!" Draw said as he hopped on. "Guess I should say my name again for those who missed it earlier. I'm Draw Toonz, and before you say anything, yes I do like to draw." He said with a smile.

"I guess I'll say my name as well. I'm Ali Finish, and I plan on doing so as quickly as possible so if you could all get on this platform, we can be on our way!"

''Got It!'' Said Splinter as tumbling onto the platform.

Ivy looked at the platform, she put two hooves on it. She then stepped back on to the ground. She then got on and looked down, after some time she sat down. "I don't like the look of this... not one bit!" she said with panic in her voice.

''Is that another button?'' Said Splinter as looking around the room.

"You guys need to think for a few seconds. Look at the water in the room. I don't think it would be much at all of a good idea to go in all at once but the platform does look super sturdy... But what the heck! I've always loved a little excitement in life so lets do it!" Alex said in joyful like tone while skipping to the platform. "And I think that's another button in the room... Hard to miss giant red stuff on a small white stub!" Alex said to the dark colored pony. "But may I ask who you are since I don't know at all if that's okay with you..." Alex said while hardly saying the last line of his sentence.

"Whoever gets on last, press the button. I don't think we can reach it from here." Ali said to the remaining ponies not on the platform.

''Ali, Those are Famous Last Words.'' Said Splinter as cocking an eyebrow.

"What?" Ali replied. "All I did was ask the last pony to press the button as they were getting on the platform. That's just a simple as asking somepony to turn off the lights as they were leaving a room!"

"Yea but look. The water looks acidic and deadly in a way. We have to do this carefully you know." Alex said as he was trying to decide whether to touch or not to touch the sewer like water.

Ivy blinked and looked around "Was i the last one on?" She said smoothy looking around.

"I dunno. Is anypony not on yet?" Ali said, smartly.

Splinter ran up to the water and dipped a tiny amount of his hoof in it. ''OOOOOWWWWWW!'' Bellowed Splinter as screaming over the pain.

"Idiot..." Ali said, while placing a hoof on her face.

 

"Does anypony have any medical experience? Or medical equipment, for that matter?" She asked the crowd.

Ivy did the same and shook her head.

 

"I don't" she looked at Splinter "well now we know what the 'water' is"

"I kind of have some degree of medical experience but I don't know what the heck is this liquid." Alex said while trotting towards Splinter. "But from what I can tell, it's not normal acid that's for sure" Alex said while ripping a fabric from his vest and wrapping it around Splinter's hoof. "You alright man? You need to take better care of yourself." Alex said to Splinter.

"Yep, and at least we learned of it before one of us pulled a quote, unquote 'prank' and shoved somepony into it." Ali added, morbidly. "Not that I think anypony here would do that." She quickly said, recovering.

''Urg... I'm fine, In extreme pain but fine.'' Said Splinter as calming down.

"The term 'Extreme Pain' doesn't seem fine to me but you look like a sturdy pony so you'll make it." Alex said to Splinter in a slightly sad tone. "But we have to move on, I don't want to be stuck here forever you know!" Alex said to Splinter again while trotting over to the platform where everypony was on.
