Likelihood of seeing and touching upon descendancy

Since G5 is being set in the far future, it’s likely we’ll see the topic touched upon. Mostly as an Easter egg, but I’m expecting it’ll play a central role at some point or another. Apparently, we’ll see a return of “Where’s Derpy?” Just like the good ‘ol days

I'd actually be surprised if they did that, especially when The Last Problem made it look like they'd all grow old without kids barring Pinkie Pie

I'm expecting there to be easter eggs, but any direct reference would be unlikely. I do think I saw a screenshot recently released though that shows an Earth pony with the same colours and mane style as Derpy.
