Cutie Marks: Were the images flipped?

From what I can see from the trailer, everypony seems to have their cutie marks on only one side their flanks (being "their" back right). Does anypony think that the images used for the marketing might have flipped them causing their cutie marks to be on the other side causing all this confusion on how cutie marks work in this G5?

I don't remember the actual generation that only had one cutie mark on one side, but there was one (G3?). Hasbro is saving ink for the toys. That also explains the size of the cutie marks being smaller. Sadly, we can't see the cutie marks that well in the movie.
