Netflix released a clip for Make Your Mark, which includes a song.

 I'm head canoning the idea that Glory is Starlight's descendant in the future,

Annd saw a tiny moment of animation lag with Izzy's head, but ultimately I'd say the animation looks solid enough.. I don't really like this song though if I'm being entirely honest, but Make Your Mark and Where'd it go are absolute bangers...the rest I heard on the soundtrack just meh/mid

At times the animation looks a bit stiff, especially the wings, but overall I think it looks slightly better than the special. Sunny is enjoying the performance in the background :P. 

I loved the interaction between Izzy and Pipp in the clip, not so sure about the massage though lol...

Wow...is the show not-so-subtly alluding to the kind of product it is?  Yeah, why create something wholly original when you can just try and copy something else and add a slight spin to it?  That would take way too much effort.

Yeah I noticed that to and am not sure if I completely agree, Pipp LITERALLY saying she "knows her brand", while I may LOVE "her brand", at the same time, "wut" lol ..

EDIT: At the same time Pipp is a musician and media influencer and stylist, she may need to "know her brand" and this goes over to my defense of Rarity in "Spice Up your life"... Now, I agreed more with Pinkies sentiment and perspective by far, but Rarity is literally just trying to keep their restraunt open and as she is a big success as an independent designer and a Canterlot enthusiast, she knows how to stay relevant..

NOW Pipp is literal royalty, she doesn't have a pressing excuse for conformity but she knows what HER fans "want to hear", so she may just mean that, bc "you need to change yourself and what you're doing" isn't the right message either, I just don't think they chose the absolute best way to write that interaction, but understanding who Pipp is is kind of essential, Pipps music isn't about being rich, it's about being relevant, she's ALREADY A PRINCESS lol, so if the relevant music has a good message than that just says good things about who her fans are and what they want to hear I suppose

Clearly Hasbro knows its brand too.  Heck, oftentimes it can't even put in the effort to rip off FiM, so it opts to rip off earlier G5 content; that's a whole new level of lazy cash-grabbing.  At least there's nothing wrong with plagiarizing oneself.  It just doesn't come across as original or that more than the minimum effort went into things.  I sincerely hope more effort went into at least some aspect of this new series.

Is it me or does Izzy's hair really looks shorter? In any case, I like this hair length more than the previous one! It's more natural.
