I was googling the phrase "Klutzy Draconequus" and this popped up because someone was/is using that as their login name.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony

Like a lot of dudes, I thought it was ridiculous that a bunch of grown men watched a show full of unicorns. But I made a mistake: I watched the BRONIES documentary fully intending to laugh at y'all but instead I became intrigued. And watched an episode. And then another. And another. I finally found The Cartoon Archive and started watching in order. I'm about to watch "The Last Problem" so, for now, I am studiously avoiding any other portion of MLP forums. NO SPOILERS PLEASE! 

I also understand from comments I've seen online thar there are pretty strong opinions about pre-FIM ponies and G5 and later but I intend to keep an open mind and will watch those next.

The show itself but the fandom's combination of sympathetic homage, parody and outright lampooning of FIM is what finally made me "join the herd". Hopefully, I'm now 20% cooler..but I doubt it.
