The description says nothing about an Origin for a new playable creature type. However, with an emphasis on Canterlot this would be a good place to introduce the ponies that make up Princess Luna's personal guard: The Bat Ponies! Who agrees?

I want to see some Crystal Empire stuff in this

That seems possible, at least! But don't set your hopes too high. Here's notes on the Crystal Empire from the Core Rulebook:

Quote

Crystal Empire

Has Spike ever told you that he saved the Crystal Empire – twice? Well, this Crystal Empire wouldn’t be complete without his likeness in statue form! All the crystal ponies reside here, under Princess Cadance and Prince Shining Armors’ watchful eyes, as the former ruler, King Sombra, attempts ceaselessly to regain control over the Empire. The Crystal Heart resides in the Empire Square, where it prevents the Empire from turning into a frozen wasteland, and is instrumental for the Crystalling of newborn foals. When the powers of love and light within the Crystal Ponies are unleashed, the Heart emits so much significant power, everypony within the Empire temporarily becomes crystalline. The Crystal Empire also houses an impressive crystal flower garden maintained by Mistmane, and the Crystal Stadium, home of the Equestria Games.

Landmarks

Crystal Flower Garden: A large garden filled with crystalline plantlife. The Crystal Empire’s royal landscape artist, and a member of the Pillars of Equestria, Mistmane looks after the garden with great attention to detail, as her appreciation for seeking the beauty within can be manifested through the gardens’ captivating displays.

Crystal Empire Stadium: Home to The Equestria Games, where ponies from all over the land compete for glory. Featuring events such as aerial relay and ice archery, ponies are tested for their athletic prowess to gain medals for their team, hoping to be the team with the most accumulated medals at the end of the games. Spike, as the Crystal Empire’s savior, was the official torch lighter, and, after saving the Crystal Empire again during the ice archery event, became the official ceremonial fireworks lighter.

And from Story of the Seasons:

Quote

Crystal Faire

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Season 3, Episode 1: The Crystal Empire, Part I.

The Crystal Faire was founded by Princess Amore, the Crystal Ponies’ first queen, and has become an annual festival since. The faire is part classical jousting festival, and part spiritual celebration as the Crystal Ponies’ light and love strengthens the Crystal Heart that protects their empire.

The Faire is a traditional affair, as the Crystal Ponies celebrate the uniqueness of their empire. Booths hosted in colorful tents sell hoof-crafted items, and beloved food staples like crystal berry pie and crystal corn on the cob. Meanwhile activities include a ring tossing competition and jousting match—the participants of the latter afforded the title “knight” for the match. Even the musical entertainment favors traditional instruments like lutes and horns, with the crystal flugelhorn being the most popular. The aesthetic of the festival also requires a fair deal of preparations, as colorful hoof-sewn flags are flown all over the empire.

The Crystal Heart stands at the center of the Faire so all visitors may enjoy its beauty. Designing the display for the Crystal Heart is an important part of organizing the festival. This display must be innovative, show the designers’ character, and display the Crystal Heart to the best effect for all visitors.

All ponies are welcome at the Crystal Faire, though those from Equestria might have a way to travel. The Crystal Faire thus allows the Crystal Empire to showcase the best artisans and chefs it has to offer. Equestria sends a formal delegation each year, typically headed by one of its Princesses.

I was able to download the Knights of Canterlot PDF earlier this evening and I just finished giving it a look. I highly recommend it if you want to give your MLP game more of a high-fantasy flair or just let your ponies play a game of Ogres & Oubliettes. Sorry, but if you want to add Bat ponies, you are still limited to using a homebrew for them. And, no, there's no new stuff about the Crystal Empire.

Well, the Crystal Empire was not the focus of the sourcebook. Neither is castle life in Canterlot. It's about going out and adventuring! I do wish that they'd included stats on Bat ponies, including making them playable. But I still have my homebrew.

BAT PONY
Accustomed to the harsh winds of the Trotsylvanian Alps, Bat Ponies are strong flyers--though not always as agile as Pegasi--with bat-like wings, tufted ears and cat-like eyes with slit pupils that allow them to see very well at night. They typically have gray coats, black wings and dark-colored manes and tails, though other coat and mane colors do occur. It's true that Bat Ponies have fangs, mostly used for sucking the juice out of fruits--a favorite being mangoes. Bat Ponies dwell in a chain of mountains located east of Equestria, and might be related to Pegasi (though most Bat Ponies themselves dispute this). Bat Ponies make up the Night Guard of Princess Luna.

Bat Ponies are nocturnal by nature. Their unusual appearance and nocturnal habits, combined with a reputation for fierceness, have given rise to the rumor that Bat Ponies are vampires; however, this is just a tall tale spread by superstitious ponies. Other names: Cavalum; Noctral(s); Sarosian(s); Thestral(s).

EXAMPLE BAT PONIES
• The Night Guard: Princess Luna employs Bat Ponies as her personal guard. They can often be seen pulling her carriage.
• Flutterbat: Fluttershy was once accidentally transformed by Twilight Sparkle into a form closely resembling a Bat Pony.

ORIGIN BONUSES
Essence Score Increase: Increase your Strength or Speed, or the Essence tied to an Influence Skill, by 1.
Starting Health: You begin play with 2 Health.
Movement: Your base movements depend on how often you use your wings and your legs. See Air Born, below.

ORIGIN PERKS

Acute Sense (Hearing): Your hearing is much stronger than that of the average pony.
• You gain Edge on Alertness Skill Tests where your hearing can be applied.
• You gain an upshift of 1 on non-Alertness Skill Tests where your hearing can be applied.
Air Born: You were born with wings but without the strength to use them. How fast you fly depends on how well you took to it, and how much your training paid off. Choose one of the following as your starting Movement:
• 15ft ground and 45ft aerial
• 30ft ground and 30ft aerial
• 45ft ground and 15ft aerial.
Lighter Than Air: Aerial acrobatics are in your hollow bones. You get an upshift of 1 on Acrobatics Skill Tests. Unlike Pegasus ponies, you cannot land on clouds or walk around Pegasus sky cities.
Night Eyes: Darkness does not affect you like it does other ponies. You can see in darkness as well as in light.
Cutie Mark Perk: Pick a Skill, Specialization or abstract area you are especially talented with (see pages 30–31) as guided by your GM. You get an upshift of 1 shift on any action that area might apply to.

ALTERNATE ORIGIN PERK
Echolocation (replaces Night Eyes): You have the ability to use sound to navigate in your environment. You does not need to be able to use your eyes to see their environment, and you are immune to the Blinded condition.

Today I recieved my copy. I think it's a bit overpriced and unnecesary. The idea of playing MLP DnD is very strange... It's good for the ideas on how to create campaigns with a bit more of "adventure" in mind, but all the things of the orders and stuff... If I wanted to play a dungeon campaign with ponies, just play Dnd. There's not a lot of good images (Apart for the reference of The Lord of the Rings Movie).

There will be more books?

I'm sorry to hear that this doesn't completely float your boat. It sounds like you might be more partial to PonyFinder (using PathFinder rules).

Besides the My Little Pony Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook and the GM's Screen (comes with the adventure ("In a Jam"), there's only been a few expansions to date:

  • Dark Skies Over Equestria (introducing Changelings and Dragons)
  • Story of the Seasons Adventure & Sourcebook (holidays and other celebrations; introducing Griffons
  • Knights of Canterlot Sourcebook

And some individual adventures available as PDFs from Renegade

Thanks! I have all the books. But I don't know if will be more supplements.

Don't get me wrong, Knights of canterlot has a good amount of creatures and ideas. I love the essence 20 system in My Little Pony and his focus on "there's no encounters, but problems or conflicts to solve in many ways". Maybe my expectations where to high. I wish in the future a book about the Crystal Empire and near places like Yakyakistan.

The next Renegade Con virtual event is scheduled for February 2025; We should be able to expect any new expansion to be revealed then, if not sooner.
