Note: The Overland is a fan country for MLP and the overlanders are an original species for MLP.

The Overland, formally known as the Kingdom of the Overland is a country located on the south Celestial sea. It has over 10000 islands, but only 6000 of them are inhabited by its overlanders. Some of those 10000 islands include Summer, Jawu, Kalamari, Lalui, Rali, Telamat, and Ikatan. Its ruler is Princess Ika of the Overland. The Overland has a tropical climate and only 2 seasons, the dry season and the wet season. With there being so many islands, there are 1000+ ethnic groups in the country. Also about 40% of overlanders live in Summer Island.

Oooh I love it, great job! I'm interested by the vast number of islands. Each one is woven into the country's cultural fabric. I'm still amazed how there are over 1,0000+ ethnic groups in such a small area. Princess Ika is incredible to maintain unity over all these diverse groups. Are there any local customs or special traditions that these groups celebrate?

Is surfing the waves allowed 24/7 on all these islands?

Depends on the island. For example in Summer Island, surfing is allowed 24/7. However on other islands like Jawu Island, you can only surf during day hours. Certain islands like Rali Island, no overlander is allowed to surf because since Rali Island is a small atoll, it would bring too much water onto the small atoll making it a threat to the overlanders on Rali Island.

Thank you! Of course with the large amount of islands, there will be a lot of ethnic groups spread out across the islands. Yeah, I couldn’t draw all 10000 islands because I would take forever, but I drew the bigger islands and the small dots represent the small islands and atolls. Btw, Ikatan island is named after Princess Ika.

Update:

I updated the map of the Overland.

I added more names to some more islands and I added the capital of the Overland, which is located in Summer Island.
