Why is Season 7: Episode 13: The Perfect Pear so well loved by the community?

There is something I really want to know. The community seems to absolutely love the The Perfect Pear episode. I've read a lot of people say it's the best episode in the show, but ... why? Why is this episode so much more well loved than any other? What, exactly, about this episode elevates it higher than any other episode? As someone who is on the autism spectrum and can have difficulty understanding social situations and emotions and at times comprehending stories and moves, can someone please explain this reasoning to me in great detail and as specifically as you can?

In my eyes The Perfect Pear:
Is a very strong example of the potential My Little Pony has to be enjoyed by a broader adult audience.
Tells a beautiful love story and tells it well.
Is made even better still by a touching musical number.
Introduces characters and their story that the fandom had been wanting to see for a long time coming.
Rides a wave of tease and intrigue and delivers something better than anyone could have imagined.

The Perfect Pear is easily one of most the most mature and perhaps the most emotionally impactful episode in the entire show, I cried. A lot lot lot of people cried. It was beautiful. And I think I'm going to use that word a lot.

The episode is a take on that Romeo and Juliet feuding family and forbidden love trope which while nothing new was done incredibly well, watching those two lovebirds bond was delightful, the strain on their growing relationship caused by the Apple and Pear families rivalry was felt and to hear from others how beloved they were was touching.

Pear Butter's song to Bright Mac is so heartfelt and is a real cherry on top of their relationship. again. beautiful, the staff knocked it out of the park with every aspect of this episode.

It has been shown many times throughout the show that the parents of the Apple siblings were loved and missed, though always only eluded to that they might have passed away or just be missing, in the fandoms heyday that was a question a lot of fans came to ask, foremost what happened to them, secondly what were they like. I believe The Perfect Pear hits closest to home for anyone who had been wondering, and for anyone who was already emotionally invested in the Apple siblings connection to their parents.

The story we got was funnily enough not really what people were asking for, and yet to have gotten it was a treat to be sure, what amazes me is that we still don't know what happened to them, but after watching the episode I mostly lost the need to know, I was and am just so satisfied, there was a lot riding on the episode and it delivered.

I'm not sure what else to say, Bright Mac and Pear Butter really are the perfect pair and The Perfect Pear is a 10/10 episode.
