general How do you think Equestria would celebrate New Years?

As I am writing this, it will soon be new years.

As any followers of G4 and G5 will tell you, Equestria has many holidays that are parodies of our own.

Valentine's = Hearts and Hooves Day

Halloween = Nightmare Night

Christmas = Hearth's Warming/Winter Wishday/Wishyhooves/Wishentine's

But despite New Years being celebrated by so many cultures around the world, Equestria doesn't seem to have one for this.

So if you were given the job of coming up for a New Years for Equestria... 

• What would you call it?
• What kind of traditions would it have?
• What kind of celebrations and decorations?

New Year's might be folded into Hearth's Warming, like Yuletide in the North of Middle-earth celebrates both the winter solstice and the year's end.

I actually started work on building my on world and I had the idea that their Christmas and New Years could be one four-day holiday.

I know it probably isn’t but what if the Summer Sun Celebration is MLP: FiM’s New Year’s Eve? 🥳🤔

Yuletide is actually a six-day celebration! Foreyule (December) 29 & 30; the two Yuledays that fall outside of the months; and Afteryule (January) 1 & 2. 1 Yule is the last day of the old year; 2 Yule is the first day of the new year.

You aren't in the southern hemisphere, are you? I don't see the Equestrian New Year starting at the height of summer.
