What if Equestria Girls had a video game?

Recently I’ve been thinking about how FiM never got any video games, but that got me thinking, what if there was an Equestria Girls video game? Do you think an Equestria Girls video game could’ve worked? If so, what do you think it would be like?

Based on how simple the videogames they usually deliver are, I would only expect a Hatsune Miku like game at best, which has already been done in the mobile actually ~☆

Hmm...there have been a few flash games based around Equestria Girls, but a full on console game could be interesting. I feel like realistically it'd be like any game adaptation of a movie where you reenact the basic plot but with a few elements/challenges added for more levels. However, I think it'd be cool to have an original story, especially if you could play as your own character. When I think about what the gameplay would be like, the Bratz game comes to mind. I can't see it being anything revolutionary, just something to grab kids' attention and make a quick buck. Probably one of those games that a million gamer and brony youtubers dogpile on for being a mediocre game targeted towards a 7-12 age group. Maybe that's a bit of a blead outlook though...

I think the best possible outcome for an Equestria Girls video game would be made by fans! If that were the case, it could look like anything really, but it'd be made by people who are driven by an actual passion for the subject rather than the aim of making money.

My thoughts are that I can imagine it being a lot like one of the Monster High games I have. You create a student and partake in life at the school. Interact with your favorite characters and make friends. Do missions and minigames. There would likely be one main overall mission. With the Monster High one, it was a school dance. I've played some Bratz and Barbie games over the years that were the same sort of thing. 

It would probably do as well as most of those sort of games do. Fans and kids would play it.
