I just looked up the name online How you became a fan of My Little Pony The artwork that people made of the show was cute Hello, I'm new here, and I have a pony sona that I commissioned from someone on Etsy named "LeahLaceCreates". Basically, the pony is a planetologist/astronomer, who specializes in astronomy and planetology, and studies magic, geology, geography, weather patterns, anything related to science, really. He lives in an observatory, the design of which is inspired by the Cosmo Canyon observatory from Final Fantasy VII. This pony is basically a self-insert of the real me, basically someone who's kind, caring, intelligent, laid back and down to earth, and loves to play video games. The only problem I have with this pony sona is that I can't settle on a name for him. I've tried lots of different results, but none seem to satisfy me. I think it's because I got the design first, and not the name. I might change the pony sona design to have it so that I come up with the name first, and then commission the artist to edit my pony sona into the new design. If I want a name to come first, maybe I would want a pony that's basically a male version of Twilight Sparkle, somepony that's interested in studying both science and magic, and is a bit of a nerd, too, which explains the glasses. That means 'Saturn' and your cutie mark reminds me of Saturn. I really like the color palette already, but I'd suggest maybe making the coat or mane and tail look like the sky at dusk and the cutie mark maybe be stars falling? The Romans identified Cronus with the planet Saturn, which appears to be their cutie mark. I personally like the cutie mark just the way it is. @Twilight Twinkle PS: Hello from my astronomer OC Ursa. As for your OC, I think Starfall Dusk or Cronus are great suggestions. I like the design you already have, so personally I think the suggestion for 'Cronus' would work better if you want to keep the design as it already is. If you want to change the pony's design, 'Starfall Dusk' would be the name to go with. Like I said though, in the end, it's your character, and it's up to you to decide how you name them or redesign them if you so choose to. 2 Come and check out my shop! Hope you'll stop on by!
