Should I watch G5?

I just finished G4, and I am feeling the lack of ponies. I'm not sure how well I'd like G5, though. I'm not even totally sure what it is. It's a movie and two TV shows, I guess? Or is the movie the only part which really furthers Equestria's story? 

I can probably adjust to the 3D, but I'd rather not enter if there's no central narrative to it. What do you recommend, G5 viewers?

Give G5 a look if you want. The movie is pretty good. If you don't think it's worth your while, you can stop any time you like.

While I personally think all of G5 is great, I recommend only watching it if it clicks with you. Start with the movie, then see if you like Make Your Mark. Everyone likes MYM's later chapters better, but don't push yourself to watch them if you're not enjoying MYM Chapter 2. If you don't like shows with CalArts style and fast pacing, you're simply not going to like Tell Your Tale. If you're okay with what TYT is though, it is very well worth watching.

I'll probably say what other have said and will say but,I've seen the movie. It's..... It's definitely a movie of all time. Not good, not bad, watchable. The series? Bleh. Haven't watched it, doesn't really appeal to me, yeah, test the water with a few episodes but remember, g4 is peak

Turns out the movie is only on Netflix, so I can't watch it. Oh well.
