How did you find MLP Forums?

Honestly, I just found it by googling "MLP forums" in a last ditch effort to find people still as passionate about this show and fandom as I am.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony

I was kind of just in the right age demographic; I was in elementary school when the show started coming out. I really fell in love with it, and grew up with it, until I discovered the Brony fandom when I was a teenager. I think that permanently altered my brain chemistry, I fell in love with the fandom harder than I ever did the show.

I was too young and had too little freedom to ever get to experience Brony Con or any pony conventions at all really, so now that I'm finally old enough to do those things as I please- it sucks its not really a thing anymore. I have not met a single other brony in my area no matter how hard I look, and honestly I just want to find people to shamelessly share this interest with. I used to draw so much fanart, and consume every bit of fan content. My husband supports my interest, but doesn't really understand the way I want him to because he just isn't interested in it. I want to connect with others that have this shared experience of growing up with this wild ride of a fandom.

I am so so happy to see this place is active and so excited to chat!! :derpy-hmm:

Not so! :Laugh_Pipp

Your profile says you are in The States which still has a few cons to choose from depending where you live.

Seems most events have already happened this year and sadly 2025 was the last year for BABS Con in Burlingame, CA. A few upcoming cons in the US I am aware of that might be of interest are:

https://ponyvilleciderfest.com/ Milwaukee, WI (Less than 40 days away)
https://hearthswarmingclub.com/ Ithaca, NY. (Less than 2 months away)
https://trotcon.net/  Columbus, OH. 2026.
https://everfreenw.com/ Bellevue, WA. 2026
https://harmonycon.org/ Dallas, Texas. 2026
https://www.seaquestriafest.com/ TBA 2026
There is also a more how should I say.. Risqué convention called Mare Fair who's attendants ended up collectively donating over $100,000 USD during their charity auction last month. commendable for a fandom that isn't really a thing anymore :Flutter-wink: I was at Galacon 2025 in Germany the same weekend where a more modest €34,500 Euros was raised for Make A Wish.

There is still an enormous amount of people interested in MLP even if they aren't so easy to spot in public.
Yes MLP isn't in the public eye or the craze that it was and sadly the big conventions like BronyCon may have said their farewells but in their place stands dozens of smaller ongoing annual conventions and meetups. MLP inspired art, music and animations are being made to this day in unbelievable amounts and quality.

Things are a little quieter now, sure, but MLP fans wont be going anywhere for a gooooooood long time.

Oh, and a warm welcome to MLP Forums!

This is so amazing to hear! I live in the Southern states so I'm so excited to see Ohio on there, and will definitely be making a trip!! I knew the fanbase was still here, I just needed to dig a little more- I dream to make at least one irl friend with as much love for ponies as i have and that convention could be it.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the resources!:fimyay:
