brushables?

Scarfy HOOVES

anyone else think they are kinda weird. i mean for me its almost like the toys look nothing like the characters. other than the cutie mark and colors. i mean hasbro has kinda kept the same feel to the toy though out every generation. and it makes it hard to enjoy collecting. anyone else feel this way?

It really does make me feel like what the haters call us on walking down the dreaded pink aisle...

But with that new NMM box coming out, I won't feel as bad with dat smexeh black box.

What can I say, they are made for littlle wussy girls, not grown men who want a quality toy

Or people who don't have the cash to put out for a quality plushie, by the monopolist Whitedove who has an iron grip on the plush market right around now...

Hasbro just wants your money, as long as they make money, they will just keep selling them, why? Its cheap, easy, and some people at Hasbro don't know about Bronies still.

Hasbro, Y U no make better ponies? Y u no actually make plushes that look show accurate, heck, toy designers, Y u no watch show?

Whitedove only have such thing because there is no other quality plushie maker out there. It's either Whitedove or other shitty plushie on ebay that will torn out after the third washing.

We can still be a brony without collecting the actual plastic

I haven't bought one yet...

Why won't people stop their bitching with Acti and do this? We've aknowledged it before. Seriously. Just boycott any ONE of the CoD games on their launch week. One week for MW3 was 8 Billion buckaroos wasn't it?

My Little Pony toys have always been about brushable hair, so they're not going to change their toys now just for us. Sure they could have made them more show accurate but back when the model was designed, bronies didn't exist. They were making toys just for little girls and most little girls don't really care about show accuracy. At most, they just want a toy pony that vaguely resembles the ones in the show.

a show for little girls (i use that term loosely just meaning when it was created it was not for grown men). a show for little girls when it comes to majority is viewed mostly by grown men. i wonder if hasbro will change there market in feature to direct the toy line more to are age group

If they wisen up business wise and keep it on the dl from the press like Fox, they'd be in the clear.

Money is money is money is money. They make money from these toys, right? They are cheap to make and they already have everything up and working to keep producing these toys. To change them would cost them more money. Hasbro doesn't care about us. We're just more money. So until they absolutely need to consult the fanbase for a profit, they will continue to make these toys the way they are. Hasbro is a business and they are doing what any other business would do.

i think they need to start making cheap plushies. i just want a cute fluttershy i can cuddle up with at night. that doesn't cost 100+

TY Beanie baby makes cheap plushies. How hard would it be to make a Trixie or Luna plush like that?

They get pissed that fans charge ridiculous amounts of money for making custom made plushies, and then shut down a few of them here and there, so I agree, they should start making their own quality ones for non-crazy prices, that look like the actual characters in the show and not the brushable toys.

I don't think so. Even though the brony population is probably in the millions and growing, there are still far more little girls than there are bronies, and besides, a lot of people would be upset if they change their toy line to focus solely on us. Hasbro knows we exist and they're already marketing to us with officially licensed third party merch. I say just give them time. We're a new demographic and they probably haven't figured out how to find a balance between marketing to us and the original demographic yet.

I concur with Discord. As said before, TY makes cheap plushes. Why can't they?

Sorry. Ninja'd. Yes, but little girls don't have money versus us, and parent's are only so willing.
