"Over here!" she said, and levitated their swords away, waving the in the air.

Trench sat down at the side walk and wished he had something to drink.

As Linus grabbed his knife, he picked himself off of the floor. ''Okay Little Lady, I don't want to harm you... But Duty Calls.'' Linus said as flipping the knife.

The puppets were destroyed, the wooden swords they threw at the pair remained on the ground. They then formed back together and swung again.

Thunder quickly bucked the another puppet into next week.

*You really can't blame me, you were the one who provoked me. Also, you're keeping me from MY duty, which is to kill the stallion located in this house,* sighed the filly.

 

Dissonance picked up those ones as well, and threw them away.

The bucked puppet clattered on a wall then got back together. It grabbed a sharp object and attempted to stab it into Thunder.

Dissonance realized she still had one sword and desperately stabbed the puppet with it.

Thunder bucked it again this time with cloud tufts on his hoofs which electrocuted the puppet.

The puppet that was stabbed looked at Diss with it's blank eyes, it suddenly fell limp and didn't move again.

 

The puppet seemed to take no damage from the kick.

"What 'appen'd to ya?" Trench cried to himself, "Your fifty years old and your calling in the calvary to fight a goddamn vampire. You used to be a badass! Now a couple of teenagers are doin' your job!"

*Are you proposing an alliance?* asked the filly with narrowed eyes.

 

Dissonance quickly stabbed the puppet attacking Thunder, and the others in quick succession.

"Ok you have a bit of skill D," Thunder said to Dissonance.

"Why thank you, Thunder," said Dissonance with a little bow.

''I guess...'' Said Linus as his face shrunk.

The puppets that were attacked with swords in vital areas died. Some still limped along. Two more stepped out from the wall and made 5 puppets left. One of the half broken one's swung a sharp sword at Diss.

"Cute too," Thunder muttered as he Shot the head of the puppet attacking Dissonance.

The filly snickered. *Reapers don't work that way, I'm afraid, Mr. Linus. Too many important secrets for the public to know. Also, you don't have a Reaper scythe. We need to collect the souls.*

 

Dissonance cheerfully impaled the puppet. "Use the swords," she called, tossing one to him.

The puppet that was shot healed up a few seconds later and continued to attack, but then died from the sword. Two other puppets then charged thunder.

Trench stood up. "Buck this, I'm gonna go get drunk for four hours."

*Exactly.* Suddenly the filly began to morph into a pretty mare, and she slung the chainsaw onto her back. *But I'm interested in getting to know you better, Mr. Linus. I'll see you around.* She then turned and calmly walked into the house.

 

Dissonance neatly stabbed one of the two puppets attacking Thunder, then sat on the other and sliced at it. "Gotta be faster!" she winked at Thunder.

Thunder was really irritated at this point and picked up a sword and stabing an advancing Puppet.
