"You don't exactly just stumble across a mercenary. I'm ex-military. When we invaded the Gryphon Kingdom I deserted with a few others. They did horrible things to the prisoners. I'm ashamed to be apart of such a 'peaceful' nation," he lamented to Cloud.

"I figured it was a sure shot at fame, after all who else can take a dragon down like this," He replied, Squeezing the cloud tuft in his mouth and sending an electric shock at a nearby cloud.

Cloud kept his smirk, "She only asked to whoever would help. She had no idea who we were. So, ex-military by dishonorable discharge huh? My dad was in the guard as well"

"I suppose. I've been on the run since. That's why I was in a hurry to get out of that park. You know what Cloud? You seem...like a good stallion." Malice smiled at him.

 

"Not as good as me though," he finished and flapped his wings at an incredible pace, racing to the pack of the group.

Cloud raise an eyebrow and snorted, flapping his wings and easily catching up to Malice. "Sounds like a challenge" he said with a competitive smirk.

Thunder looked at Splinter and laughed causing an electric shock to hit him. "Sorry," he said sheepishly.

"Then maybe you should watch where you're flying...look down," Malice chuckled and motioned down to the chasm below. It was lit with small fires and one could hear roars. It's the dragons den they've been flying around for. He swept down and went into a nose dive.

Clouds eyes widened and his adventurous smile appeared, "Sweet!" he said. Instead of nosediving by angling his wings, he closed them completely diving toward Malice.

Thunder simply shrugged and dove in following the other two.

Moonless Night shot at an angle up at the group of pegasi, her wings carrying her Rainbow Dash-style. She braked as she came up level with Tulip and kept her speed steady. "That was harder to get away than I thought," she muttered to the other pony.
