gaming Bluebell plays Stationfall

Hey, everypony. Bluebell here. Today, I am playing Infocom's Stationfall, the sequel to Planetfall, which I finished yesterday. And because I am a nerd, I jumped right in to this game.

 

Five years ago, a custodian aboard the spaceship Feinstein was marooned on a planet and given the quest to survive. Oddly deserted, the planet turned out to have been attacked by a plague. Though the project to find the cure was nearly successful, the planet was in danger of being destroyed and its inhabitants in cryosleep killed. Meeting up with a robot named Floyd, the custodian attempted to rescue the citizens of the planet while stuck there.

Of course, the survivor saved the day.

 

And now this is the next chapter! Yay!

My commentary isn't very good, but i want to do this so don't be hating, okay?

 

Without further ado, it is time...for Stationfall.

 

 

 

My name is name is Lieutenant Bluebell, and I'm bored.

 

 

Stuck at an office job in space. For five years. The pay must be really good for me to stay that long.

An emergency mission, eh? Heh, sounds like an adventure to me. And a lot safer compared to a ship explosion and a crash landing.

LET US BEGIN!

 

To the robot pool!

 

 

 

 

It's dangerous to go alone: take a robot.

Rex, Helen, and Derpy. Which is worthy enough to accompany this pony?

There's mah old boss, by the way. Now he's a custodian and I'm the one oppressing him. Kind of...I'm not allowed to demerit him. If I was, though, he wouldn't be here right now. Yeah, you run away.

 

Now, who to choose? I like Helen, we need more robotic mares aro--

Playing marbles. WAIT. HOLD ON.

 

 

 

I KNEW IT! FLOYD! That little robot I said gave me diabetes!

You see, Floyd kind of died five years ago getting a necessary item from a room full of mutants. But since I got the best ending, mechanics managed to fix him. He's still a little ditzy, though.

 

But Celestia, is he cute.

So let us choose him!

 

 

 

I hugged him back, by the way <3

 

 

We walk to the cargo bay to begin the adventure. And it turns out I get to drive a space truck! YAY!

SPACE TRUCKS SPACE TRUCKS SPACE TRUCKS.

Fun to say, is it not?

I launch the spacetruck and Floyd kills my pancreas. HNNNNNNNNG
