"Oh, that again..." Shizu sighed as she began to walk to their next class, book's in tow. "Look I already told you before, we don't even know if our soul wave lengths are similar, we have yet to fight, and I thought I told you Stine would look over our fight." She said as she maneuvered her books into one arm to readjust her glasses, and brush a stray hair out her face. She reached the end of the hall and turned back "You coming or what? I don't want to be late to our next class. We all have it next period since we're all new here." she stated in a matter of fact way. When ever the topic of a conversation came to something about school or anything that required her to use her intellect Shizu either became harsh, serious, or once in a while had a sense of mad humor, something she adopted from Stine growing up in his house hold. This however, was one of her mad humor moments, "And besides you should be excited, our next teacher..." she paused and giggled mischievously, "... Is my father"

Seth kept his dull glare "We could always try our soul wave leaths are the same who knows. If he's your father what class does he teach?" he began to walk with her to thier class his hands in his hoodie pockets

"Not teach per say..." she said smiling, almost a bit too giddy. "You'll just have to wait at see!" Shizu playfully chided. She turned the corner and bumped into Sula, she blushed "Oh I'm so sorry" she said meekly and bowed slightly "Oh, his Sula! I thought I ran into another person I didn't know..." she lowered her head and hid her embarrassed shade of red, she saw another pair of feet she didn't recognize and looked up to see the boy who approached her at lunch, "Oh, um hello again." she shifted the books she was holding in her arms to one, and adjusted her glasses and brushed her hair out of her face, "Nice to see you again."

"Yeah I could tell you wanted to see me from your greeting," he muttered before extending his hand. "Nice to meet you," he said to her. "What class do you have next?" he asked her.

"Oh its no problem. We were waiting for you guys and we heard you on the way up the hall. If you really wanted to test your wavelength me and Keshamaru would be more than happy to help." Sula said Keshamaru snapped his head around and looked at Sula. "Are you crazy we just made friends and you wanna fight them!? You have to be kidding me Sula. Fine I'll do it." Keshamaru said blandly.

"That is if its okay with Shizu..." Sula looked at Shizu hoping she would say yes. Sula really wanted to test her skills agains another team and these two were perfect. Plus Sula though it would be nice if they stayed together. Somehow being as Seth was her friend ans Shizu was sort of her friend it would be nice to know their friends were friends.

Shizu had heard Nat, 'No need to be rude' she thought before she extended her own hand to shake his. "Like wise, and I have "Intro to Soul Wave lengths and Resonance", I'm pretty sure we all have it, it's a required class for new students here." she said, and smiled a bit. After her and Nat's introduction she heard Keshamaru, Sula, and Seth asking more about their potential partnership, "No, and no. Sorry but we can't just pair up and see if you can wield me, you might lose an arm to frostbite" she smiled and winked "And sorry Keshamaru and Sula, it's a fight that has to be between me and Seth, but that will come soon enough" she said sweetly, she seemed as though she enjoyed the thought of taking out Seth, she hadn't fought anyone but Stine, and she's only ever beat him once, but that's more than anyone else has ever succeeded in at this school, well other than Lord Death himself.

"If you guys want a fight I'm always ready," Nat told Sula as he turned his forearm into a gun barrel again. "So anyways, I hear the teacher of that class is a bit of a creeper," he replied to Shizu.

"Oh your so on!" Sula replied to Nat. Keshamaru laughed and said "Stines creepy but in my opininon hes just a badass!

I mean who else could put up with pervy spirit all the time. Plus stine has a few tricks up his sleeve or so I've heard... I only hope that some day I'll get my chance to take on his daughter. No offense Shizu but your the one person in this school who might match Sula... But we'll see. I guess if you put up with seth that would make you just as tough as your dad." Sula smiled and suddenly realized.

"Hey we get our teams in this class dont we..."

Shizu scowled, sure Stine was creepy at times, but she still took it to heart when others insulted him "He's not that creepy" she said irritated. She stepped into class and noticed Stine wasn't there yet, "Yeah, we do, but not just yet. Stine told me that the teams won't be chosen for a few more class sessions. " Shizu said a bit more calmed down. She stopped for a second and looked towards the door, she heard the faintest sound of wheels squeaking "Uh... You guys may want to take a step back." she said, a smile sprawling across her face, she giggled a bit and sat on the top of Stine's desk, setting her books next to her and adjusted her glasses and brushed her hair away.

Sula moved out of the way but Keshamaru just stood and said "What the hell is that noise..." Keshamaru looked around not seeing a thing he shrugged his shoulders and took a few steps into the room. Kekoshi jurried past him and sat next to Shizu yipping to his new friend from the cafeteria.

Nat walked ito class and sat down propping his feet up. "Well whenever he decides to partner us he better know I work alone. Never needed a miester never wanted one, never gonna have one," he said.

Seth looked around to try and find the nosie but he couldn't so he just took the closet set he could find next to Shizu "So Shizu you said you were his daughter?" he was curious to see what her father was like

Shizu petted Kekoshi and nodded, "Some what yeah. Like I said before, he's not my biological father, but my adoptive father." she answered Seth. The squeaking from the hall became louder by the second, as the sound came closer Shizu frowned and muttered quietly, "You're coming in too fast again on that chair Stine...". Suddenly as if on cue Stine came rolling in class room in his trademark fashion, sitting in reverse of his favorite rolling chair going backwards. As predicted his chair hit the door way entrance and he fell onto his back, chair and all.

Stine had his hand to his head turning his screw "Could of sworn I had that entrance down since last time I used it on Maka and her friends..." Stine stood up and saw Shizu. Shizu just face palmed and sighed softly, "You're cute when you do that you know " Stine smiled as he invoked his daughters cheeks to flush. Stine took his chair and rolled it to his desk and sat. He had his hand to his screw again began to turn it, looking into his memory for the names of the new faces he was looking at. "Keshamaru, Sula, Nat, and Seth I presume?" he asked in a monotone voice as he moved his hand from his head to his lab coat pocket to pull out a cigarette and rest it between his lips.

Seth looked at him and nodded "Seth Heart to be percie nice to meet you Mr.Stine" he gave him a respect full bow in his chair "Looking forward to this school year" he was trying to make a good impression

"Nat Sherlock, reporting to this irrelevant class," Nat said with a small wave before looking at Shizu. "So......... your dad is an insane maniac who dissects everything and most likely got a piece of Medusa last year?............ Sweet."

Keshamaru looked closely at the doctor. He reminded him of some creepy dentist.

Sula fiddled with her screwdriver and kept squirming in her seat. She was anxious to hear what this doctor was gonna say.

"I wonder what hes got planned for today..." She thought but continued fiddling with her tools. not paying any attention to the rest of the class.

"Well, now that the formalities are out of the way let's start class." Stine stated blandly as he searched his coat pockets for his lighter. "Really? You know those cigarettes will end up being the death of you.." shizu sighed as she took her seat. "More likely to die by a witch's hand than these relaxing babies." she said with a wink as he finally lit his cigarette and took a long drag.

 

"Now as for class today... You're all in for a real treat" Stine stood up and walked in front of his desk and put out his cigarette nonchalantly and adjusted his glasses. "You're all going to fight me." he said with a warm smile. "Except you Shizu... It'd be cheating if I let you join in, after all you already know how to fight me."

 

"But that's not fair!" Shizu pouted as she slumped down in her seat "You know damn we you're doing this on purpose because I took the last muffin this morning" she said in spite. Stine smiled and knew he was doing this for that exact reason, blueberry was his favorite after all, "I don't know what you mean my darling dearest Shizu" Stine playfully said receiving a crimson red face in response from Shizu.

"Cool, I already know I'm the best fighter without a meister. What better proof then beating one of the best ones." Nat said as he stepped out of his seat. "Don't worry Shizu, I'll try to make sure you're old man gets home with only a few broken bones." He said to Shizu with a grin.

Sulas eyes shot up to the doctor. Keshamaru smiled slyly. This screwhead was tough. They wouldnt dare underestimate him.

They knew all about his wavelength and Keshamaru grinned. He has to get near us first... He thought and looked at Sula.

Sula slide her screwdriver into her pocket and looked at her companion. Dont underestimate him Keshamaru... She thought and looked down at Kekoshi who was at Shizus side. The dog looked ordinary but it was a terrifying force in battle. And with the help of a purple pill the huskys power grew ten times. Sula didnt think Keshamaru would dare unleah the purple pill. He wasnt THAT stupid. That weapon was for life and death situations. Not sparring lessons.

Seth smacked his head on the table "Oh great first day and fight one of the most powerful teachers here!" he tought he looked at stine trying to find a weak point "The screw maybe?" he mumbled as the class headed out side to the fight

'Please Stine... don't go all out this time...' Shizu thought solemnly as she watched and felt the tension build in the air

 

Stine looked between his students reading their emotions, trying to predict their future moves. He knew already that two of them were an established pair, and were a ranged duo, 'I'll have to watch out for ranged attacks and sever the meisters' soul wave length from the weapon so he won't be able to use it let alone even pick them up.' he thought carefully. 'The other two must be the lone weapon, and a lone meister...' the weapon he knew he could take, but the meister... he could be like Blackstar and may be able to use soul attacks.

 

Stine lifted his hand to his screw and turned it a few times, "So, who's first?" he stopped turning and smiled crookedly, "And may I add, if you don't attack me, you will fail my class."

Seth smacked his head again "Crap! I thought I could just stay in the back!" he looked around hopeing he wouldnt pick people or for sure it would be him since he was quite his teachers tryed to get him to speak up he hoped stine was different

Keshamaru stayed down. Only a fool would go first he would wait until he had a sense of steins fighting style... Then he could figure out the best possible way to attack. Keshamaru looked around. Will he use a weapon... He thought Sula was shivering in anticipation. She wanted to fight but she knew they would have to wait a bit.
