Chipper trotted through the street. Even though she visited this alternate universe often, she still felt uneasy in the middle of the town. She melted into the shadows as Ipsywitch slunk by. Although the two were friends, she was unpredictable. Stepping over a severed pony leg, she started for her lab. A white pegasus with red hair was walking about. Her vivid colours and nervous stance tipped off that she wasn't from here. While Chipper was bright pink, she usually blended into the shadows. This pony wasn't even trying to hide. Her problem... Chipper kept going.

Chipper slipped through a crawl-space between some pipes. She couldn't stop thinking about that pony. She stood out too much. Night was falling. Though Twisted Ponyville wasn't ever very light, you could barely see anypony at night. Unless they were standing in the middle of the road and had the coloring of somepony from Equestria. And that was the exact description of this pony. Cursing, Chipper twisted around and stalked back to where she saw the pegasus last.

Chipper tiptoed behind the pony. Now that she was closer, Chipper could see clearly that she was a small filly. She didn't want to scare the pony, but she might die. "Hey! What are you doing?! You don't just sit in the middle of the road here!" She hissed through clenched teeth.

(What's sticking her? I don't want to mess up and do something else completely...)

Chipper wasn't sure what was sticking the other pony, but the situation didn't look good... a few more minutes and she might be toast.

Pinkamena Diane Pie stepped out of the gradually rotting Sugarcube Corner, and saw with surprise that instead of the usual silent, empty streets, there were a few other ponies gathered around.

 

She headed over to them with a twisted grin on her face, her pink tinted mane hanging down in dead straight locks. Her icy blue eyes were wide and malicious.

 

"Welcome to Ponyville," she said, her voice high and eerie.

The moon was almost up. Chipper looked around nervously. Her instincts were right. She caught sight of a curled pink and purple tail. Panicing, Chipper turned the other direction and bolted down the street. One thought was going through her head: Meanie Belle, Meanie Belle, Meanie Belle...

Looking back to make sure, she spotted another pink pony. Oh, great. Pinkamena. Chipper had managed to not become a cupcake, but she still tried to avoid anypony. Fueled by fear, she flung herself into the safe confines of the Everfree.

Splinter approached the 3 mares. ''Hey, Have you seen my friend Keith? He was around here an- WHO IS SHE?'' Splinter said as looking at Pinkamena. He blushed and than laughed. ''Ya'll See, Keith was walkin' round here with me.. And he Suddenly Left! But who needs him? I have 3 Mares.'' Splinter said the Last Sentence rather Quietly.

Realizing she was still levitating the filly, Chipper cut off her 'magic'. Another pony, a male, had come up. She backed up into the underbrush of the forest.
