Sparkles of interests shone in Hurl's amber eyes when he saw another pony approaching them. Suddenly he felt embarrased under the gaze of the pony with cream-colored coat and light pink hair. It was unusual for him to receive attentions for the injuries he had. Wow, these ponies really care a lot about each other. And she is pretty, too! "Oh, this?", responded Hurl hurriedly, touching his beak to the crooked wing to smoothen some feathers back into their places. "Don't worry about me! I am perfectly fine-Ow!" Hurl's wings gave a powerful flap, causing him yelp in pain and crash his head against the tree.

Lighting squinted his good eye. "Smooth" he said simply. He put a paw to his beak trying to hide the laughter. He then turned his head to see a green coloured pony trotting towards them.

 

Ivy blinked and moved towards all the fuss. She saw Lighting. an old friend of her. "Why,hello there!" she called out.

"Well.. You certainly don't SOUND fine," she joked, carefully walking over to him and studying his wing. "I think we should go back to the camp, they might be able to give you help there,"

She looked up to see him staring at her. Hit by embarrassment, she stumbled to correct herself. "Well... if you're ok with it, that is..." She replied, trailing off in her words.

Oh no! I hope I wasn't too rude with him...

Rainbow Dash turned to Splinter. "Hi!" she said.

"Haha, you are right.", chuckled Hurl mischeviously at the cream-colored filly's kind reminder, his red lion tail curled up behind him. Looking up to see the place where he just fell down from, he guessed it couldn't hurt to stay here longer. He didn't want to say no to the offer, too. "Back to the camp? Okay!" Trotting around her energetically, he noticed something about her. Her mane is so long that it is almost covering her whole face. Can she see like this? He was one beak away from touching the filly when he leaned closer to try to see through her light pink hair.

''I'm going to camp! Catch up with you guys later!'' Splinter said while smiling.

Fluttershy turned towards the griffon and gasped. "Oh... Um, I'm sorry if I was being... um..." Fluttershy frantically searched for the words to respond to this strange situation. She grew nervous, and thoughts flew through her head as to if she should run away.

"It's so hard to stand still!" Speda said to Rainbow Dash. "I'm Speda by the way. Wanna take a short flight? It's so BORING here" she asked Rainbow.

Ruby stood in the corner for all the commotion, but she was feeling happy that everything turned out okay - well, except for the injuries of course. Having no idea what she was suppose to do, she simply stood there quiet waiting to see if anything or anyone would tell them more about this camp.

"Being what?", asked Hurl, tilting his head to the side. Out of curiosity, he reached out and drew her light pink hair to the side to see her whole face. He beamed triumphantly, "See, you have an eye underneath it. So why are you covering it?"

Now that the attention was adverted from Lark, he decided to try to get out of the tree. He stood out on top of the branch and jumped to glide down. He lost his balance as he jumped and started falling down and landed into the ground. "Oww... it seems like all I'm gonna do here is get hurt." He frowned and laid down on the ground.

"Sure! By the way, I'm Rainbow Dash." Rainbow said to Speda, smiling.

"Well.. uh..." Fluttershy tried to force words out of her mouth as the situation loomed over her. Not being a social pony, she was never good in situations like this. She shrugged and displayed a slight smile, unaware of how she should respond to this intrusive griffon.

"Your eyes are so huge. Come on, you should loosen up a bit. Say something~", encouraged Hurl cheerfully, carelessly flapping his wings once before closing his eyes in pain. The clouds marking the camp's whereabouts looked further away than he thought from the ground. He removed his talons away from the pony and strained his neck to look up. "Uh...Wow. Now how do we get up there? By the way, a little help here?", mumbled Hurl as he walked toward the fallen pony to give him a nudge. "He can't fly up there himself."

"Nice to meet you, now, let's go!" Speda smiled as she took off and did some flips in the air.

Lark got up and then said, "Well... we could ask some other pony for help... You can't fly very well either... I could try to lift you back up... But I'm just a little too weak..."

Splinter was behind a tree writing in a book. ''Most of them Love to fly...'' Splinter said to himself while writing.

Speda loved the air. The wind in her mane, the puffy clouds, and especially all of the cool tricks she could do!

Fluttershy felt sorry for them. "Well... I'm not that good of a flier, myself," she said to the griffon asking for help. She never liked to let people down, and it saddened her that she couldn't help them as much as a stronger flier. "But... I guess I could try to help..."

Splinter looked up and saw Speda. ''Okay, Some of them REALLY like Flying.'' Splinter said while continuing to write in the book.

Speda flew down and saw Splinter giving her a look. "Guess you don't feel like being here?" she asked him.

''I hate flying.'' Splinter said while looking at Speda. ''This is my Journal on what happens here.'' Splinter said while showing her the book.

"Hey, who said I am not a very good flyer? ", complained Hurl unhappily, frowning at what the colt just said. "Just because one of my wings is busted doesn't mean I can't fly."

 

Turning his attention onto the filly, he shrugged and pointed out what he thought to be the obvious, "You got wings, right? How can you not be a good flier?"

 

With his wings behind him, he soared straight up straight into the branch above him and came right back down to Earth. Leaves showered and covered up the small griffon. "Aaahhh, how are we going to get to the camp with you injured and I having only one wing? Maybe we should just hitchhike a cloud." Hurl popped his head out and spat out a couple of spiky seeds.

"Uhh... I can try to fly up and ask for help..." He starts flying a little, but the stress on his flank with the way he moved while flying was too much and he cringed again and fell back on the ground. "Or... not...." He muttered as he hung his head low.

(I had to run some errands with my mom, but I'm back now... I missed a page...)

Rainbow Dash started to fly after Speda.
