shotoku 47 July 15, 2012 Share July 15, 2012 He is my drawing on Luna I made in a program called Line Rider. Nothing much to it, just mainly did this for a contest on another site. Made it in 1 afternoon By the way I don't really like how I did the tail, and there is no way to do any different tones of gray for her coat (which was kind of shortsighted on my part)
MVC NVMXD JVRXD 2,406 July 15, 2012 Share July 15, 2012 Knowing that you are limited to back and white, I won't judge anything based on color. In all, everything looks ok. Her tail seems to be very sloppy. The lines are shaky, and the black of her tail only loosely follows the "normally blue" section of her tail. Her cutie mark is not very accurate, and some things are misrepresented. The biggest problem is her neck. It's HUGE. You really need to work on making it proportional to her body. And her one leg seems smaller than all the others. This size difference kind of throws everything off. Her ear is pretty small compared to how big everything else is. In all, I'd say this isn't that bad for something that was made in Line Rider. Good work! I HAD TO FALL TO LOSE IT ALL BUT IN THE END IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER /WRISTS On 4/28/2013 at 8:13 PM, gooM said: Djenty...man you are crazy, but an awesome sort of crazy
Hazardus_Havard. 479 July 15, 2012 Share July 15, 2012 Aaaawwwww...........I thought you meant the game, would've been epic to see THAT! Anyways, as for constructive criticism, replace the thickness factors from neck to body, and vice versa. That is, your neck is too thick and your body is too slim. Face is pretty accurate. Add a bit more hair on top though, it'll help. Your wings are a bit like a rounded square; try making individual wings and go from there to better flesh out the full wing body itself. Practice makes perfect; but if nobody's perfect, why practice? http://hazardus-havard.deviantart.com/ Art http://www.fimfiction.net/story/70801/an-alien-walks-amongst-us Story
shotoku 47 July 15, 2012 Author Share July 15, 2012 (edited) Djenty, Thanks for the advice! I don't know how I didn't notice that neck problem -_- I'll be sure to pay closer attention on my second fan art, which probably won't be in Line Rider Hazardus_Havard, Challenge accepted! Also, thanks for the tips on the wings, and I'm glad I got the face right most of all. Edited July 15, 2012 by shotoku
Jammo 986 July 15, 2012 Share July 15, 2012 Luna Llama? Needs a more swan-like neck. She either has a very muscular neck or a nasty allergy-fed goiter.
Ezynell 2,037 July 15, 2012 Share July 15, 2012 Aaaawwwww...........I thought you meant the game, would've been epic to see THAT! Ditto, I was also expecting an epic play. For some criticism, the horn is oversized and a bit off, both the mane and the tail could use a little work, the legs are small and proportionality incorrect and the neck is oversized. I don't know how difficult it is to use the program you did though. GAK

For some weird and wild reason, I am expecting the program to have reactions similar to an Etch-A-Sketch and if so, this is pretty darn awesome. I don't know why it kept reminding me on one though. TheBronyNextDoor 6 July 15, 2012 Share July 15, 2012 Very nice! I play the game to, and this is amazing for what it is.
Mango 21 July 15, 2012 Share July 15, 2012 (edited) The neck is really big and it makes it unproportioned to the body. Considering Luna is abit taller than other ponies, she could have longer legs too. Also, the front wing has a more square shape while the wing behind has a more round wing-shape to it. I love the artwork you did, good luck for the contest Edited July 15, 2012 by Mango

I don't know how difficult it is to use the program you did though. It's quite difficult, as there is nothing to help you besides a pencil, a straight line tool, and an eraser. To top it off, you have to draw it in green, then view it in black, so it's hard to immediately tell how something you drew looks. Very nice! I play the game to, and this is amazing for what it is. Thanks! Glad to see someone else who plays. The neck is really big and it makes it unproportioned to the body. Considering Luna is abit taller than other ponies, she could have longer legs too. I appreciate the advice, and as far as I know nobody has ever submitted a pony for the contest. I too was a little bummed out it wasn't the game, but it still is great! Then it is settled, next time, Canterlot Castle! (Need to practice up a bit first could probably draw the castle fine, just would need to practice the royal guards and everypony else before I attempted it)
