"Alright then." Snow Flake replied as he got back up on his hooves. He grabbed the wooden equipment and went back to position. "Ready on your go Swift." Snow Flake added as he flapped his wings and raised his weapons.

Swift Smiled "remeber focus more on close range less on charging, dance around me and try to make me do the same" Swift said as he kick his spear up and caught it, before readying himself. "now begin!"

Snow Flake threw the spear at Swift to distract him while he outflanks him on the right. He raised he slashed at Swift from his backside and recovered into a defensive stance to get readied for a counterattack.

Swift knocked the flying spear away with his shield and as he saw Snow go for the flank he quickly rolled away and poke his spear out to create some distance "better , keep it up" he said as he got back up and moved on the offensive repeatdly thrusting his spear at Snow

Snow Flake held up his shield at Swift and flew around him in quick succession. He then slashed his sword when Swift thrusted his spear and tried to recover from it. He chucked the shield at him to serve as another distraction while going in to slash at Swift.

Swift Echo twirled around Snows shield and as he was spinning he sweeped his spear in a horazontle motion to strike at Snowflakes hooves 'he dropped his shield big mistake' Swift thought to him self as he followed though with is attack.

Snow Flake slashed at Swift's spear to attempt to break it then buck Swift while he is unarmed. He would then proceed to punch Swift and force him to engage in hoof to hoof combat, of course since he had the wings he would have to advantage.

' he dropped his shield and now his sword, idiot' swift tought or at least he thought that he though that after he got punched in the head by snow.

 

Swift then hit Snow with the side of his shield before standing up and hitting snow again with the shield as he was getting up

 

"never drop your shield, its more usefull then a sword or spear" Swift said as he walked to the side of the room wiping the blood from his mouth

"Well sometimes your hooves are more useful than both." Snow Flake replied as he flew at his side and bucked his shield out of his hands. "A soldier once said that only a fool trusts his life to a weapon." Snow Flake added as he went for another punch.

Swift blocked the punch with his shield "true only a fool places their trust in weapons alone, but ones own skill with these weapons is a wise combo" he said as he followed up with his own punch, "now i pretty sure your punch hurt you more then it hurt me, do you still think you hooves are better then my shield?"

"No, but my back legs are better than your shield." Snow Flake replied as he bucked the shield out of Swift's hooves. Snow Flake then turned around quickly with the help of his wings and threw another punch at Swift while he was still recovering.

Sapphire was set, "Rope? check, random tools? Check" She left a note that said "Bye" for dusk, who was still asleep, she then ran out the window, jumping from building to building, untill she found a air vent to were snow and swift were, she didnt know that they were there yet, but she was ready anyways

Swift staggered from Snowflakes punch 'such savage behaviour this is what were trying to avoid, still, good punch' Swift reposioned him self and continoued to block Snows punches "snow you forgot an important veriable im a unicorn" he said as he levitated the shield and thoew it at the back of snows head 'if he ducks i recatch my shield' he though to him self.

Sapphire kept crawling "Darn its cramped down here" she said to her self as she walked down the air vent, she was atop of snow when she looked down out of the air vent "well well well, what do we have here?" Sapphire was wareing a black coat, so no pony could know it was her as she prepared for her next move

"You might be a Unicorn, but I'm a Pegasus!" Snow Flake replied as he bucked the shield and moved around Swift before he could recover his shield. "Too bad your horn can't grab your shield any faster!" Snow Flake added as he tackled Swift.

Sapphire was almost in place. She carefully removed the air vents plate, then uncoiled the rope, she leaned down, put her hoof around snows mouth, and draged her up, careful not to trigger the shock coller, she slamed him into the side of the vent, and removed the collar, all in a few seconds

"your right your a pegasus" replied Swift, as Snowflake tackled him he repositioned himself to throw Snow onto the ground however this time he put Snow in a wing lock while steping on his back hoof "you attacks are too savage, you throw you weight around as if the are no consequences, you dont have the physical strenght to do that unlike a earth pony you need to rely on more gracefull attacks" Swift said letting go of snow's hoof wind allowing him to get up.

Flitter Wing flew around Ponyville, awaiting to see more raiders appear from Dragon's Mountain. For now, no Solar Empire units were attacking Ponyville. He shuddered at the thought of the most recent attack they had executed. They were weakening Ponyville's defense with every attack, and soon they would have to send a message to Canterlot for reinforcements. But there wasn't an infinite supply of ponies they could send, and soon enough Ponyville would have to either retreat or do something unexpected. But for now, there were units from The Solar Airforce to warn the guards if there were any enemies approaching Ponyville.

 

Pinkie Pie watched the hustle and bustle as the ponies in Ponyville went around doing their business. It was necessary that everypony do their part. She knew she could try to cheer them up, but fear of losing the war had filled their mines, and they were focused on the jobs they were assigned to do. Pinkie was assigned to supplying food, or more specific, cake to everypony. She was currently on her break inside Sugarcube Corner. The building had changed quite a lot after necessary precautions were taken. Every building in Ponyville had been covered by reinforced steel to keep damage at minimal. She hadn't seen her friends for quite a while. She didn't quite know where Rainbow Dash and Twilight were, but she could guess. Chances were, Twilight Sparkle was in Canterlot helping with strategical moves, but Rainbow Dash could be anywhere in Equestria just then. As for the other three, Applejack, Fluttershy and Rarity, they had joined The Solar Empire. It had taken quite a lot of cheerfulness out of her, but at least she still had a few sparks left.

Twilight walked around the Canterlot Castle, Princess Celestia was apperantly in an important meeting with other high ranking officers, Rarity was walking inside of the castle as well, Rainbow Dash had been with other pegasus trying to fix cloudsdale after the Lunarian attack

Pinkie Pie hopped back and forth in front of the soldiers of The Solar Infantry, inspecting each and every one of them. She didn't really know what she was looking for, she just thought it was funny how professional she looked. She stopped directly in front of one, slowly raising her head and staring into his innocent eyes. Then she slowly crept away, still staring intently into the stallion's eyes. Then she looked away and trotted into the forest. This may be war, but it didn't mean she was allowed to have her usual fun.

Snow Flake was suprised to find himself recaptured by Sapphire, "Sapphire what the buck are you doing?!" Snow Flake asked.

 

Meanwhile Applejack was in the hidden headquarters of the Everfree forest, "We still haven't been able to rescue Rarity so we need a better plan. That barrier in Canterlot is blocking our way in so we need to shut it off somehow. Ah got it! We should attack Cloudsdale again causing them Solar varmints to weaken their defenses at Canterlot!" Applejack said to some tacticians.

"Why dear snow, arnt you happy to see me" She said with so much coldness in her voice, it even make her fell like she was freezeing to death all over She turned away, then said "What do you want, a nice little home?" Sapphire head snaped back, she re pined snow down "Well, alls fair in love and war"

Sapphire stared into snows eye, her eyes were already some what red, but they shifted from greenish red, to reddish green. Sapphire then started chuckling then she bust out into full out lafing. She kicked snow up, grabbed him at the end of her hoof, and spit "I was happy, once when i loved some pony, but that changed when my soul got ripped in 2 by a crazed pony, the pony i once loved" She said that, and chucked him back down the vent, then proceeded to leave, and run out of the vent into the air light
