It's because at your heart, you're an educated hillbilly, and so their speak is just second-nature to you.

 

Idk if I should take offense to that or say thank you. I'm not a hillbilly it's just the way people in the South speak. The only places where the accent is pretty thick down here are Alabama and Georgia, and then there's places up north that call themselves the south like NC, TN, KY, etc.

I feel distinctly like the bad guy of this piece. All the cool guys are on the other side, and the group I'm in conists of an insane, sadistic marksman, a crazed massacre invoker who hates everything and a paranoid ugly guy of dubious origin. Wow. Okay, FUN TIME!

 

Yeah, but you have to keep at it. I had to doublecheck a couple of times, and I had always missed a "mah" or "ah" somewhere. It's obnoxious.

 

You think THAT shit is hard? Try replacing every "W" vith a "V" and pronouce everysing like zis! THAT'S HARD!

What you think Sunburn could POSSIBLY be the good guy? I mean, in any story, how could he end up on the good guy side at all?

 

For what its worth, try thinking of it more like the Revolutionary War. It seems like the British are the big bad guys, but in truth they are about the same as the Americans in morality, they just tend to get painted more evilly. Plus, Nightfall's on our side.

 

For now. Wits isn't around to make him turn traitor.

I think the Imperials as a whole are the bad guys, and we're imperials.

We'll do some pointing out of flaws in the NLR later, as well as some good things for the SE. Abaddon is supposedly going to be redeemed by his interactions with Sunburn, and though he'll prolly not change sides, he'll be better pony for it.
