"Well, let's get this over with..." Wits sighed. He moved into a position, and then he cleared his voice. Seemingly out of nowhere, music floated in. And then, Wits began to sing.

Because I've got to get this done, and my agenda is quite full.

So I'll quicken the magic and give you a surprise

So watch as I work a miracle right before your eyes.

Of course you all love, for I'm quite the treat

So hang onto your drinks and relax in your seat,

Suddenly, Vinyl felt an inexplicable urge to sing.

Vinyl looked around the house. It was much bigger than the one bedroom, one bath cottage that they had not two minutes ago. She even found a pool inside (yes, that's a doctor who reference). "I think this will be perfect," she exclaimed with glee

Vinyl pushed his head down and kissed his forehead. "It's ok. Take care of yourself. Ok?"

Nightfall stood by during the house transformation. When it was over, he turned to Wits.

"All right, then. When do I hit the front lines? You told me I'd be going, so when?"

Nightfall didn't sound impatient. Just a bit anxious.

And his dreams were horrible. Either the kid dying in Blade, Blade dying during the birth, or him being captured for life.

He awoke at one AM with a jolt.

Vinyl had a nightmare with Wits knocking on the door to the cottage, letting her know that Nightfall had come back in a body bag

Nightfall sat up, looked at Blade, and wondered if her dreams were going well. They didn't look like it. He shook her lightly with his right front hoof.

Vinyl woke up sweating (I don't care if ponies can't sweat) and breathing heavily. She turned to Nightfall and hugged him. "Oh! Nightfall, I had the worst dream."

"I dreamt about three things... the filly died young, you died giving birth, and I never returned because I was captured for life. If you don't want to share yours, don't."

Nightfall hugged her again, and closed his eyes.
